I noticed that babies have a sweet smell that comes from their skin or breath I think. Even when they don't have baby lotion or powder they still smell so sweet. Why?

My husband knows a woman who recovered from a C-section so quickly that in 2 days she was back on her feet. She was a doctor. But then I hear of some women who are in bed for 2 to 4 weeks. Do some women handle physical stress and pain worse? Why is this? Thank you.

First he has her around second hand smoke for 3 hours inclosed in a house, then two weeks later he picks her up, takes her to his dad's house and three adults and one teenager boy sit idle why teenage boy watches R rated movie with seven year old girl? What do you think? We have no way to stop her from this damage.

i've had two epidurals which always bothered me but after my third child, which i had a spinal block instead, if i don't sit up straight i get a tightening sensation. it is also accompanied by a cold feeling in my upper back. kinda like it fell asleep. what's going on here?

I'm still young in my mid 20's...I'm not over weight...I get hot no matter what the season is..It's freezing outside..I have the heat on and don't want to have it too high cause it will be to hot..Right now the heat is on a normal temp and I just want to turn it off completly but I can't because I have a daugther who I need to keep the house warm for..What do you think is the problem? My son is 6 years old, he is the oldest of my two boys.
in sep 06 he had open heart surgery, I have had him out of school since aug 06' to get him ready for his surgery, I didnt want him to get sick (that would have delayed the surgery more)
here we are feb 07 and I am deathly afraid to place him back in school. I hardly allow him to do alot of physical activity I let him play and stuff, but like the other day my mother-in-lay took him skateing without me knowing! I freaked out!
I am scared to take him in heavly populated areas (i am scared someone will bump into him.) his doc says its fine now and I shouldnt be scared no more the worst is over. but I cant seem to do it! I still cry when I help him dress. just thinking about it now Im crying. and I dont know why. he is fine and healthy now. but I cont let him do certian things, and I dont want him to be a mommas boy but at the same time I just cant bring my self to let him play football skate or play with bigger kids.

So Im about 9 weeks prego and my body is going nuts. Ive been cutting back on my smoking cause I read in my book ( the universal what to expect...) that if you quit by the 3rd month you should be ok. My thing is Im trying so hard! Ive been a smoker for 6 years and Ive prided myself on how far Ive come. Now that I'm at the quitting date that my husband and I set my emotions and such are going haywire. Nothing I eat doesnt make me nauseous and when Im starving nothing sounds good, I hope you can imagine what Im putting my poor husband through. Last time I was prego, same thing happened when I tried to quit, when I did there was no way I could win with my body. Sometimes I just dont feel like smoking but when I do there is no end to the misery. So my question is this: Since I've cut down dramatically should I just continue with the backout process or I'll take any other suggestions. Thanks!

The airplane would have gone there a day sooner if it hadn't snowed that day. When she gave birth to the baby, I wasn't there. and now, my wife doesn't forgive me for not being there when she need me the most. I told my wife about the airplane but she is still mad at me. What do i do now? I still love her more than anything. I hope she will forgive me in the future.

k im 13 and i live in canada. my mom works in america which is only 30 minutes away. shes a nurse so moneys isnt really an issue to me. but she refuses to order online. she says that you dont get to see the material, and that you cant try it on. also she says that you cant return it. but with alot of stores that you actually shop at (like at the mall), have the same sizes in the website. how do i convince her that you cna return it? also shes worried about shipping and handeling.

Hi i am a divorced Mom who is trying to find a lawyer that would be willing to help a mom that has a job as a cashier who does not make much money i need a lawyer to help me with a child custody issue because my 15 year old wants to come back and live with me because my ex is not being a parent hes being her friend and shes is getting into alot of trouble at this time shes on probation for drinking at one time in school and then now she was caught with cigs in her locker amoungst other things and she is just any alot of trouble at one time just recently she thought she was preognant and she needs my help to help her but i have to do this the legal way but am having a hard time with trying to find a lawyer that won't cost me an arm and a leg i work its just not enough to pay a big time lawyer for help i live in Colorado i am a hour and half from denver anyone have any suggestions that would help me with this i need to get my daughter out of where shes at but i need some help to do it
