As the week is drawing to an end I'm actually getting used to not getting up early to get out of the door by 8:45
They drive me crackers when they are at home, and I miss them when they are at school,
How long is it to the 6 weeks holidays ???

We make sure that we sign them up for everything going:-
Swimming at the local pool in the morning
All - sports activities at the Sports Centre in the afternoon
By the evening all they want is supper, a bath and bed ready for the next day

I love having my kids at home. If people don't like them being home at half term why have kids in the first place.

i love my kids, but i think that when you have more than one child at home, and you dont work, then sometimes it can become a nightmare sometimes!!

i am a single mum on benefits, and cant afford to spend money on doing things with my kids, which means they get bored..

luckily i live in cornwall, so can take my kids on nature walks..beach walks etc...they love to learn about their environment....maybe a good idea if you dont live in the country is to get a heap of scrap paper..some glue...scissors....and any other rubbish, and let them play with it doing sticking and glueing etc..

Good luck..and wish me the same!

meet up with other mothers organise days out, take food with you.it all depends where you live, take kids for walks-return by bus.just leave housework till evening, let them help you with chores.kids are not easy to entertain if they are used to indoor life.
