I would think theres not a whole lot you can do. At 17, I would wait it out and do what you could until 18. Pray your b/f is 17 as well! Otherwise it could turn into jail time for him.

The truth of it its until you're 18 there isnt much you can do. Not unless yourparents/guadians willing let you go. Other then that you can try to be emancipated. Which you would have to go before a judge, and prove that you can take care of yourself and your child. Which if the judge says yes, you would be considered an adult from there. You have to show you are lving at a residence (such as your own), that you have an income (that can pay bills and feed the both of you). If you do have a boyfriend and he lives at home. I am not sure, what would happen. I would call and talk to a lawyer around your area. However you have to have a good reason for wanting to be emancipated. Not just that you are an unhappy teenager living at home. I wish you the best of luck!

I don't know where you are, but here if you leave home over 16, they cannot make you come back or stay. Find out what your rights are, depending on where you live! You shouldn't even need someone else to get costody, there is a way to claim yourself as an adult.

wow you should talk to a lawyer. It would be very hard to move out on your own, because you can't sign a lease until you are legal... As far as your boyfriend's mom getting custody of you..? you would just be living with her.... and I am sure there is something your parents could do... if they wanted to... it would be a lot of legal proceedings before anything is done and you will be 18 by then.

Will you be 18 by time the baby is born? if so, you don't need to worry about your parents and are free to do what you want. BUT if you wanted to stay, they would also have the right to kick you out.

Be Careful. you don't want to cut the ties between you and your parents. they might be upset now... but this is a grandbaby! They will want to be in your life and you will want them too, believe me!

if you're seventeen, there is a possibility the courts can say your old enough to leave home and become a legal adult. You could also "divorce" your parents and be able to go out on your own. i don't know if someone else could claim you as their child unless your parents gave up all rights to you and then you were adopted by your boyfriend's mother. I would suggest talking to a lawyer for all your real options.

Depends on the state you live in. You might be able to go to court and ask for legal emancipation if you can show that you are mature enough and can take care of yourself. If you are in a foster home, social services will no doubt get involved.

hi, i had my son at 17 too & went to live with my husband(then boyfriend) at his mom's house for a couple years til we got our own apartment. my mom had no objections so we didnt have to change who had custody of me. it was just easier to live at his house bc there was more room and my son was able to have his own room. do your parents even know you are pregnant? maybe if you talk to them, you wont have to go to such extreme measures. having your parents' support through all of this will make life so much easier. most parents who find out there teenage daughter is pregnant freak out at first but when the baby comes its a different story!!! but if its just miserable at home and you cant see staying there until you are 18, then emmancipation may be a possibility. good luck.

I bet you wish you would've used protection now huh? Put the child up for adoption so you can continue your deviant ways and so the kid has a fighting chance at least at becoming a responsible adult.
