i've had two epidurals which always bothered me but after my third child, which i had a spinal block instead, if i don't sit up straight i get a tightening sensation. it is also accompanied by a cold feeling in my upper back. kinda like it fell asleep. what's going on here?

its due to blood circulation, massage it often. consult a doctor if it worsen.

GO TALK TO YOU DOCTOR!!! thats sounds creepy. i get wierded out about numb feet, i cant imagine a tingly back! best of luck to you, the person who put the block in might have poked a nerve or tendon, it might just have to heal.

I would see a doctor only he could really tell you if its normal or if its something more serious.
