Yes definitely call your doctor. I have heard women say they popped when their water broke, but it also sounds like it could be your plug. Just call your doctor though and Good luck to you.

I would call your doc just to let him know, but i agree. It sounds like your mucus plug.
If your water did break, it will NOT stop. Not all women have a gush of fluid, but my doctor informed me that to distinguish between bladder spasms (how fun) and my water breaking or leaking, he said your "water" will not stop and will be continuous.
Congrats, but just give your doc a heads up!!

That's probably your mucus plug. After losing it, you should begin to become more effaced and dilate quickly. It may take a few more weeks, or you could go today, depending on your activity. Good luck!

You were probably slighly dilated and you lost your mucus plus, or part of it.
Its normal and perfectly acceptable.
