WALK WALK WALK!
I know it sounds funny, but it works. Go to the mall or the park or whatever. But walk, and walk alot.

Walk, walk, walk - and relax. Try not to think/worry about the upcoming labor. Just because you lost your plug does not mean that the labor will truly kick into gear immediately. I have had my membranes stripped with all 5 of my kids, 3 times with child 2 and it never got me going. Things will regulate when the timing is right. Until then, make sure that you are getting plenty of rest and fluids. Labor is exhausting and you will need your energy to be in tip top shape. Good luck momma!

i think of you have lost your mucus plug and you're going into labour, I lost mine a the morning I gave beginning approximately 5 hours later i began getting my contractions. At 40-one weeks i do no longer think of it has something to do with the stripped membranes because it would extra effective than in all threat have accomplished it the 1st or 2nd time. solid success and congrats.

Just keep walking, rest in between them. I had irregular contractions for 43 1/4 hours of my labor and delivery. I was actually pushing in delivery with irregular contractions. It wasnt until the very last 2-3 contractions that I was able to get more than three pushes in.

Just keep them coming, walking and nipple stimulation can help a lot.

DONT let them induce you with pitocin's of any kind it will stress the baby, stress your body, and make labor impossibly miserable. Stick to cervidel or whatever its called.

How long ago did our doctor strip your membranes? Please keep in mind that labor will come in its own sweet time, no matter how badly we want it to hurry up. Walking does help, even if it just keeps your mind off of everything. Relaxing and not stressing about it also helps. If this is your first baby, things tend to happen slower than if it is not your first. Keep up with your weekly appointments so the doctor can monitor your progress and good luck :)
