My best friend's daughter still wakes up 4-5 times a night. My friend essentially sleeps in bed with her daughter every night. Yes, the 17 month old sleeps in a big bed, not a crib. I don't know what kind of advice to give her seeing as how my twins have slept through the night for quite some time now. Any help?? Her husband is about at his wit's end but when he tries to help she flips out. Thanks in advance.

WHat do i do..my 2 yr old is very smart that its hurtng out family...we have sooo many locks on our doors but he knows how to undo them all and leave through either the front door or the back door...what do I do????? what else can I do to keep him confind to one area???PS. While he does this...we are sleeping..thank god everytime my neighbors bring him back...what else can I do...I really need help here...

I am a full time student as is my boyfriend at a big time university. We do not know what to do once our baby is born. I could live with my mom and take a semester off school, but my mom works full time, so it would be hard for her to help with the baby. But she only lives an hour away from school, so my bf could still go to school and I'd be close by. Another option is to move in with his parents for next semester (my baby is due in July) and we could both take classes part time at a school by him and transfer the credit back to our university. We could take classes this way because unlike my mom, his mom stays home. However, his family lives 8 hrs. away from here! I'd be so far from my friends and family, but his mom would be a big help. Any ideas on these two options, or if anyone could think of anymore optons I would really appreciate it because I am so confused and frustrated right now!

My 9-year-old daughter has a friend who is extremely intelligent, clever and boisterous. While those are great qualities, she's also loud, manipulative and deceitful (I caught her cheating at "pin the tail on the donkey" two years ago, for example.) She's a smart-mouth to adults, including her parents, and emotionally manipulates my daughter, often hurting her feelings. She's amazingly passive-aggressive for a 9-year-old. And my daughter adores her; they are best of friends.

I try to find things to like about the girl and be positive, but I dislike her more than I like her.

I am a single father and I worry sometimes if I am overly playful and animated with my daughter? I dance around and play with her alot, but I try to rid her of any fear and let he be confident that i am there to protect and love her. But I noticed that she hates to sit still, and shes such a sweet baby. I kiss her little cheeks all the time, and I wondr if thats bad? Dont want to raise a little terror in the house.

got my period on jan 4th. my next one was suppose to come on the Feb 1st. took prego test on fri it came out neg. but i still have not got my period, only spotting on sat. This is very unusual. my period is like clock work. is it possible i am prego? if so then why did the test come out negative

I know it's the age old question. But I'm having huge issues potty training my nephew. He turned 3 in December and I started training him just before his second birthday. We've been working on him for over a year and he has had no progress what so ever. I'm extremely consistant working with him. Here is the problem. He is here with us about 6 day's a week, and his mom has him only for about 2 to 3 nights a week, and I know she doesn't put any effort toward helping. I've tried to get her to work with him, but nothing happens. I dread sending him home with her because I know he's going to come back to me and we have to start all over again. What can I do to get it through my sister's head how important it is to work together with him and get him on the right track. Now, I refuse to put pull ups on him, because I don't believe in them, and he still wets himself at least 4 to 5 times a day. He also goes on the toilet just as much. He's also never done a #2 on the toilet yet. HELP

My 3 year old daughter is a very slow eater if she eats. Meal times become crazy and I end up shouting and threatening. i have tried the reward method either emotionally or buying her something, I have bought charts with gold stars, I have even shown her in ER series people who do n ot eat end up in hospitals but she is so stubborn. Hopw do i get her to eat fast and EAT in the first place. She does favor some few foods adn eats them realtively okay. She is healthy but petite around 92 cm and 28 pounds and she is 3 years 9 months. ANy advice .

Okay, I will be 14 on July 3rd. I am sick of not having money and not being independent and not having the money to get that really cute shirt I want at the mall. lol. I live in Ohio so 14 year olds can get a job permit but the hours they are allowed to work are very limited.
1. How do I get my job permit?
2. What kind of jobs will hire me? And how will I get them to hire me as a 14 year old?
*Include anything I need to know to get a part-time job starting in probably August or September.
