funny how your first memories usually are something very significant or traumatizing in your childhood! My first memory was when I was 3 years old, my sister and I were playing on the bunk beds, she kicked a lamp shade and it fell on my face and sliced my face open. I remember biting her arm because it hurt then hiding under the bed. Then i remember being in the hospital screaming my lungs out, having at least five people hold me down and seeing a huge needle coming at my face! I finally passed out! Wow some first memory hey!

My first memory is sitting in my car seat looking at the mountains through the window in the back of our car as my mom took me to the sitter. We lived in Denver at the time. I couldn't have been older than 2 or 3.

I think I was about 4, and my parents were sitting down with me and asking me if I wanted to live with my mother, or my father (they were divorcing) and I chose my Dad... and my mother started crying, and when she left, hugging her and telling her "Don't worry Mommy, I will take good car of Daddy".
I never really thought that was the way it happened, but I did ask her years, and years later, and she stared at me with an open mouth, and said that it had. She was upset (obviously) because she thought I would pick her to live with, and then she was upset when I said that, because she never thought that I would think she was upset for fear of someone not being there for my Father...
Weird really, the first memories you have of your life...

Having my diaper changed in the backseat of the car on the way to six flags. I remember my mom jumping out of the car to toss the diaper and quickly jumping back in. I thought I dreamt it for a long time and then once I told my dad, he couldn't believe I remembered that. He said I couldn't have been more than a year old.

My first vivid memory was when I was two. I was in the backseat (no carseats in the 70s!!! ha ha ha) and I was looking over into the front seat to see my baby brother when we went to pick him and my mom up from the hospital after she delivered him.

I was just learning to walk with my first walking shoes. I remember they were white and had little bells attached to the shoe laces. I remember everytime I stook a step or moved my feet the bells would jingle. but remeber mostly crawling with them on because I kept falling down.
