My fiance and I have one child together (she is one year) and he has a son from a previous, um, one night stand should I call it? Anyways, his son, Bryce, stays with us every other weekend for about 4 to 5 days at a time. I have known Bryce since he was 8 months old and I am just as much a part of his life as his father is. When he comes to see us I treat him with the same respect and dicipline as I treat my daughter with. I help him with getting dressed, bathing, I prepare his meals, I read to him and play with him. We do fun things as a family and I accept him as another child to me. Today he told my fiance, his dad, that he does not like me and that I'm disgusting. How do I take this? He is three, but should I take his seroiusly? Is it his mother putting these thoughts into his head? How should I handle this. When I heard what he had said I started crying. I don't know if it is his mother is saying bad things about me or if he really feels this way. Has anybody had this experience?

My baby sister will be delivering our first nephew in July. She has asked that I be by her side every step of the way, and I am THRILLED! I want to make sure her pregnancy is as comfortable & memorable as I can, as she has Cystic Fibrosis, and was told she couldn't have children. Since this is her first, and possibly her last, I want to make sure it is everything she has dreamt it would be. My husband & I have made the choice not to have children, so I have no experience, and I was wondering if those of you whom have had children could give me some advice or pointers to help her now, and during the time that she brings that baby into this world. Any and all suggestions welcome.
Thank you in advance!!

My husband is in the Navy and will be leaving for some time. He is going to be gone for about 4 months, and our son will be around 7-8 months old when he gets back. I am worried our son won't know who he is when he gets back, and my husband will be upset when he tries to spend time with him and he cries. Any advice?

alright, im 39 1/2 weeks pregnant. i went to the doctors last tuse. my doctor told me i was 3 cms dialated the baby is ALL the way down. Wed. i lost some of my mucus plug (which am still loosing it) the baby has been moveing and kicking like normal. i can tell she has moved down because i have had to start wearing pantyliners because shes on my bladder that i would have to change my undys every 30 mins at least if i didnt. well today, i have noticed that my belly is a weird shape. it looks like shes mostly in the bottem half. i can still feel her kicking up close to my ribs. i was wondering if her being so far down like she is but still kicking my ribs means that she is all ready to go and just stretching out, or if it means that shes ready but shes so long that she really has no where to go. when she kicks, sometimes it feels like she just has no room, and i look down and i her feet pushing through my belly its like WOW!!!

I was put on birth conrtol for my periods. I took the pill for the first month without missing a single day. The second month my boyfriend and I decided to have sex. We did not use a condom. I had just gotten off my period, I was on the second day of the second pack. After he had left my mind started to spin. "What if" was the only thing I could think of. I satrted reading my pill pack information pamphlet. It said I hade a 1% chance of being pregnant. But, it also said it took 3 months for the pill to become affective. That was at the begining of January, whole month that is all that was on my mind. I have only had sex once since then, that time we used a condom. I'm suppose to of started 2 days ago, but I haven't yet! I know I should of used a condom. Please help me!!

I was taking Metformin 750 before, and my periods were regulated. However, my new insurance carrier only carries Metformin 850, but I feel that my periods are not as "normal" as before, for it takes longer for me to get my period (39 days instead of 30). Is this normal, or might it be due to the change of mg. in Metformin. I want to get pregnant soon, and dont want to risk missing my ovulation days because of the change.

Every abortion is just...
One more heart that was stopped
Two more eyes that will never see
Two more hands that will never touch
Two more legs that will never run
One more mouth that will never speak
and two more arms that will never hug.

No Baby deserves to be in a trash can.

Any comments?

I am 34 weeks pregnant and I go to the doctor next tuesday(I'll be 36 weeks) I was wondering.. about being induced before I brought it up to my doctor. What do some of you think about it? My husband doesn't think it's natural for me to be induced. he wants our son to come on his own time but, I just want to know when it will happen and be ready for it. I just need to know who all has been induced, I've heard it hurts from several people then again, I've heard it's the best thing they could have done so, I'm confused about my feelings for it. Just need some advice. Thanks!

They say you bount to know if you're pregnant after 1 month has gone by and you don't see your period. Also the symptoms are: little pains on your breasts, nosea, fatigue, body bloated etc, etc.

But all this, you already feel when you are waiting for a period! How would you EVER know whether you are having your period soon, or you are pregnant?? I usually feel bloated, body pains, nosea, emotional, and all that before my period!

Also, if you have come with a real bad flew, would you still have chances to be pregnant?

I have booked to go to tunisia with my partner, and our daughter who will be 29 months old when we go.

It is booked for july so its going to be very warm, the flight is just under 4hrs.

Then the travel to the hotel transfer time is just under 2 hrs.
She is very active and hates sitting around! (dont most kids!)

She is intelligent and enjoys books etc, but her attention span is limited!

Any advice? Tips? Anything at all about traveling/flying etc with a toddler!

I am 35 weeks and 3 days today and was hospitalized for 2 weeks for premature labor at 31 weeks. I got 2 steriod shots when I was there. I've been home on bed rest and procardia for 2 weeks now. Would my baby be born healthy at 36 weeks? Would he have to stay in the NCUI?
I know all babies are different, but what do my odds look like?

Hi

My daughter is 2, she is a competent talker and has now just started taking off her pants, shoes etc when asked.

However when she has a wee she wont tell me, (she's still in nappies) she say's she has has done a pooh when she has finished doing one, and sometimes lies and says she has poohed etc when she hasent, I feel she isnt ready to start potty training quite yet, however, we have just booked to go away on holiday in July, so I dont want to leave it too late incase I end up having a potty training toddler on a 4hr flight!

and we're going to tunisia where toilet conditions arent great in most areas!

What would you recommend? Try her now? Or wait?
Sam

Hello, I have a 4 year old girl. I have recently gone through a divorce. Her dad has every Thursday and every other weekend with her. However, these past few months she has only been going to his home every other weekend. He recently got him a new girlfriend and moved in with her. She has two children of her own. When I left him I started seeing a guy that she has known since she was a baby. His (x) best friend. Her dad tells her horrible things about him and puts things in her head. He does not discipline her and lets her get away with everything. I show her lots of love and attention and so does my boyfriend. She goes on these rampages saying that she is a little adult and sometimes when I tell her to do something she tells me she does not want to or tells me to do it. I usually put her in the corner for 4 minutes and then when the timer goes off I get down to eye level with her and ask her why she was put in the corner. She tells me why she went to the corner and then she apologizes. Sometimes when she is put in the corner she screams at the top of her lungs and says she does not want to be in the corner. I then try to explain to her why she was put in the corner. She will get mad at my boyfriend or me and she will try to scratch us or bite us. She says things like she doesn’t like us or she doesn’t want us. Of course she will get put in the corner for this. If she throws her toys they are taken away. She acts like she is a little boss and I try to explain to her that she is not and that we are. My relationship is straining because she does not want to listen to him or me. I need to know how to deal with this so that my relationship that use to be so loving and caring will go back to being normal.

Month One

Mommy
I am only 4 inches long
but I have all my organs.
I love the sound of your voice.
The sound of your heart beat
is my favorite lullaby.

Month Two

Mommy
today I learned how to suck my thumb.
If you could see me
you could definitely tell that I am a baby.
I'm not big enough to survive outside my home though.
It is so nice and warm in here.

Month Three

You know what Mommy
I'm a boy!!
I hope that makes you happy.
I always want you to be happy.
I don't like it when you cry.
You sound so sad.
It makes me sad too
and I cry with you even though
you can't hear me.

Month Four

Mommy
my hair is starting to grow.
It is very short and fine
but I will have a lot of it.
I spend a lot of my time exercising.
I can turn my head and curl my fingers and toes
and stretch my arms and legs.
I am becoming quite good at it too.

Month Five

You went to the doctor today.
Mommy, he lied to you.
He said that I'm not a baby.
I am a baby Mommy, your baby.
I think and feel.
Mommy, what's abortion?

Month Six

I can hear that doctor again.
I don't like him.
He seems cold and heartless.
Something is intruding my home.
The doctor called it a needle.
Mommy what is it? It burns!
Please make him stop!
I can't get away from it!
Mommy! HELP me!

Month Seven

Mommy
I am okay.
I am in Jesus's arms.

He is holding me.
He told me about abortion.
Why didn't you want me Mommy?

Every Abortion Is Just . . .

One more heart that was stopped.
Two more eyes that will never see.
