My daughter is 27 months and I let her have her binky only during nap time and bedtime at home but not at school.. She is use to it so when its time for her to go to bed, she ask for it. Do you think she is too old? I dont let her have it during the day!!!

My husband & I have been trying to conceive now since Oct. I came off the pill that month but having been on it for 10yr figured it would take a while to leave my system.
My period is due at the end of this week. About a week and a half ago I went to the toilet & found that I had a combination of blood & brown discharge. I wasn't sure what was going on, expecting that maybe my period had come a few weeks early, but I lost nothing else therefore I dismissed it. The other night i felt like I had period pain, the usual cramps associated with a heavy period about to start, I also had back ache -again I dismissed it thinking my period was going to start early. My husband asked if pregnancy was a possibility but I said no because I have no other symptom, no breast soreness, no sickness, no fatigue. I have just been on Answers searching through answering questions when I came across a question about 'implantation'. I hadn't heard of this before and it got me thinking. Could I be pregnant?

I have done got so many good answers to my questions but i need to ask one more time. i work for a medical office and i have to lift heavy files and i am control over all the files all the mail i am only one person and i have already told my supervisor that i am pregnant i can not be lifting stuff and i need help, she said ok but have i got the help yet no i had to come in on Saturday to do my work and my 13 year sister had to come and help me. Ok if you didnt get the point i am stressed to the point i have suicide dreams and i cry before i go to bed and when i get up in the morning and go to work i am sore and dont even get my full hours of sleep at night because i wake up every five min it seems like. I know my hormones make me this way but before i was pregnant i was stressed a little bit. Do you think i should quit my office job and get an part time job? or even quit working that would be nice but no because i love making money.

I do not understand how it is legally acceptable for this parent, someone I know personally, to be allowed custody of her new baby when her older children were taken away from her. I mean in the very least shouldn't she be monitored by CPS to ensure the new child's safety? Does anyone know about this kind of thing?

Hi, My name is Tara. My husband and I could use some help on getting pregnant. We have been trying off and on for a year now and nothing. I have very irregular periods. So its hard to track when I ovulate. I have seen a doctor and she just said to do fertility testing but its hard to do that with my periods. So we are having sex just about every other day. My last three periods have actually been normal starting around the 24th and lasting 4 to 5 days. Until this month. Right now I'm not sure that maybe I could be pregnant or my period has gone irregular again. I usually do have pre-menstrual symptoms like sore nipples lasting about 3 or 4 days, pre- cramping, and the discharge and then I'll start my period. Well, what I thought was pre-menstrual symptoms started about a week and are still continuing but a little different. Not just my nipples are sore but my whole breast and the cramping is different. I have been a little nauseated and tired but again that could be period symptoms. My biggest difference that I noticed though were my breast. And this has lasted a long time, I should have already started my period. So, is it pregnant or another irregular period? And If I'm not pregnant, then please some advice on how to get pregnant! I keep watching TLC- A baby story. I think to myself "I want that happiness". I am 20. I have an apartment and a great job.My boyfriend of 5 years is hopefully going to propose soon. Why have I been wanting a baby ? I want pregnancy..everything that comes with it. Its special. Its amazing. I want to experience it already. Am I nuts? :(

I've been on bed rest for the past month because i went into premature labor at 31 weeks.
I'm 35 and 3 now.. and taking 20 mg of procardia every 6 hours to stop the contractions. I'm on a home-monitering system, and have about 1 contraction an hour on average. I've also been 3 cm dialated for the past month.
My doc told me to stop the medication at 36 weeks. Once i stop taking it, will the baby come quick after that? In my opinion, the procardia is the only thing stopping me from proceding into active labor.

I'm in college right now, and can't reconcile the fact that when I am ready to have children, I am going to be strongly encouraged to stay home for years on the sole basis that "it's the woman's job". I get pangs of "Why am I doing this?" in relation to college, and pangs of "There's no way in heck I'm staying home and wasting the tens of thousands of dollars I'm spending on college". I love what I do, and can't imagine giving it up for years. How do college-educated stay-at-home moms reconcile this? What are some of the things that you do to feel like college wasn't a complete waste?

I am looking for a crib and so far my favorite is the da vinci emily convertable crib. But i was looking at it and the front rail doesnt go down like I have seen other cribs do. it is 42" high so I dont know if that is why or what but I would like some imput from other people. THanks

I miscarried 2 and half weeks ago with the baby that we conceived on our honeymoon...I'm so depressed, I can't stand it. My husband and I argue non-stop, I don't care about the things I used to care about, I don't want to get dressed and leave the house...I'm not the person I was.

I want to get pregnant again, but every hour of every day is excrutiating. I want THAT baby, the baby to be born this July, the one conceived in Singapore...I would have been 17.5 weeks today...I would have been finding out the sex sometime soon.

How do I pass the time until I can get pregnant again? What do I say when people ask me "how are you"?

My son is two and a half and still in his crib. I can't remember when exactly I moved my daughter to a bed, but I know she was at least two and a half. She seemed so ready at the time though, and he really doesn't. I just feel like we should start making the transition pretty soon here, because of his age, but then he's never even attempted to climb out, so I'm wondering if maybe I should just leave well enough alone for now. What do you think?

I am 20 years old and have recently been experiencing a range of different symptoms, but don't know what is the cause. I NEVER get heartburn, but lately (for the past week or so) I have been getting it everyday. I have also been getting headaches pretty frequently which is something else I hardly ever get. Mainly, I have been experiencing a lot of abdominal discomfort. Pretty bad cramps, but I know its not my period. I just got off of my period on the 28th. My abdomen also feels swollen and hard. I haven't been to the doctor yet because I wanted to second other opinions before I do. Does anyone have any idea what could cause such symptoms?? Yes, I am sexually active, but if I have had my period recently then I highly doubt I am pregnant. Any advice would be appreciated.

I am waiting on hold right now to make a doctor's appointment but in the mean time want to get advice from others on this. I am on birth control pills now and i missed one a couple of days ago but took two the next day and all was fine this was about a week ago well day before yesterday i have been spotting started out as brown then went to a light red with a lot of mucus and stopped last night and is now back again. my cervix is high and closed I always thought that if you were bleeding it would be open at least a little bit or at least mine is when I am on my period my last period was on January 24th but instead of being bright red blood the whole 5 days for four out of the five it was brownish blood with mucus. I am now worried because i am experiencing some lower back pain and extreme moodswings and nothing tastes right to me, and when i am hungry it feels like i am starving but can't eat, i am sure i am not pregnant but i am worried about what is wrong with me

I have been having a lot of pregnancy symptoms for the past couple weeks. I took a test about 10 days ago and it was neg. I then had a light period on 1/29 that seemed to last about 2 days. I had some cramping the first hour that the bleeding started and that was it. That wasn't normal for me. I usually have a moderate to heavy flow that lasts atleast 4 days with cramping for a day or more. My hubby and I have been TTC so I took another test on 2/4 and it was neg. Today, I am still having sore/tender breasts, a feeling of fullness or bloating in my lower abdomen(near my uterus), I have been extremely tired the past few days, and have been getting unexplained headaches. My pants are even feeling a little tight. I have 2 children already, but didn't experience this during either of those pregnancies. Can someone help me figure this out?
