I would try for a complete year and if after that year nothing has happened then go to your doctor for some testing.

This depends totally on your age-under 35 - 1 year before going to a dr-Over 35 - 6 months before seeing a dr. You will need to start charting your basil temps (by using a basil temp thermometer)and mucus and periods -Dr's like to see this stuff in order to figure out what is going on with your body-there are alot of good books about the subject-even websites Try iVillage and put in Trying to conceive and there are boards that can help you and support you while you are going through this-You are not alone! GOOD LUCK

Never worry until the doc actually gives you bad news. Have a basic pelvic exam and tell your doc you're TTC, they should be able to give you tips and some will prescribe you prenatal vitamins right away. If, after one year of active trying you haven't had any luck, see the doc again for further tests.

Depends on your age. If you are under 30, I would wait 6 months to one year, but maybe less if you are older and your biological clock is ticking.
By the way, worrying won't help resolve fertility issues. best to see your doctor for a full work-up if you have concerns, and your husband should see his doctor too to test his sperm count, motility, etc.
If you are trying to conceive, start taking prenatal vitamins now, and avoid ALL caffiene, nicotine, alcohol and medications/drugs, including over the counter stuff. Eat as healthfully as possible, as if you were pregnant (lots of fruits and veggies, avoiding junk foods)

Are you doing the chicken little thing again? Employees do not have a right to private phone calls or email while they are at work, on company time. Employers pay employees to provide work, not to do private business. The phone lines and internet connections belong to the owner of the business, not to the employee. Can you name one person who has been "detained/arrested until months or years down the road" simply for "dissent from the government's line?" I don't think you can name one...you're just spewing fear and hate. I am beginning to believe that you are paranoid and delirious, Miss Kelly.

I would suggest that you follow your cycle for at least three months, determining when you are fertile, that is, ovulating. When you have determined this, then you know when you should be having sex for the purpose of procreation. If after you have tried for three months, when you are fertile, I suggest contacting a good ob-gyn doctor. Don't forget, it might be your husband. In this event, he should be tested also.
