We don't know what we are having yet but I've been trying to come up with a not so common but not old fashion girl names (first and middle). Nothing is grabbing my attention yet but I do like the name Lydia. Thanks!

I definatly think Lydia should be the middle name, It's really sweet and pretty but there is a chance that you're daughter may not like it when she's older.
My favourite unique names are:

Ice (could be a double barreled name like Ice-Mai or Ice-Jade)

Angelysse/Angelisse

Rhapsody/Rhapsodie (I came up with that myself and never heard of anyone with the name)

Micheala (mih-kay-lah)

You could also name the baby after the season it was born: Like autumn or summer, or because I don't really like the name Winter and definatly not spring, you could name it after a season in a different language. For example, Invierno is winter in spanish (could change 2 Invierna 4 a gal).
Or you could name her after the Month: April, May and September make good names but again you could use other languages, for example Juni is June in German.

Lydia's lovely. I think Freya is a beautiful name, or Rowan. My two favourite Welsh names are Eirlys (means snowdrop, pronounced Ireliss) and Arian (means Silver, pronounced Arianne). I like the names Adelaide and Heidi, but I don't know if they're that unusual anymore.

Take care putting your baby's name together carefully, and make sure the name doesn't rhyme with anything regrettable (mine does!),

All the best for you, your family and your new baby girl! :)

Not a fan of Lydia, sounds too old fashioned. I like Jasinthia Elizabeth or Kessa Nicole.

Stick with Lydia. How about Lydia Annette? I wanted to name my daughter Lydia Annmarie, but my husband refused Lydia. We settled on Elisabeth Annmarie with nickname "Libby" I love the unfashionable old names myself. With my second daughter I won, she got Elinore Renee.

Good Luck

You have got to get yourself a baby book I never would have figured it out without one. I love my daughters name though it has now been chosen a celebrity's baby name. My Daughter is Shiloh but even so I love it. Some other names I like are.
Lily
Sophie
Raine
Layla
Jaya
Felicia Good Luck and Congratulations!
