My husband & I have been trying to conceive now since Oct. I came off the pill that month but having been on it for 10yr figured it would take a while to leave my system.
My period is due at the end of this week. About a week and a half ago I went to the toilet & found that I had a combination of blood & brown discharge. I wasn't sure what was going on, expecting that maybe my period had come a few weeks early, but I lost nothing else therefore I dismissed it. The other night i felt like I had period pain, the usual cramps associated with a heavy period about to start, I also had back ache -again I dismissed it thinking my period was going to start early. My husband asked if pregnancy was a possibility but I said no because I have no other symptom, no breast soreness, no sickness, no fatigue. I have just been on Answers searching through answering questions when I came across a question about 'implantation'. I hadn't heard of this before and it got me thinking. Could I be pregnant?

I have a few pregnancy tests ready and waiting just no point taking one yet as my period isn't due until Saturday. Just thought I'd ask in case any ladies out there had experienced same symptoms (if you can call them that). Am going out on Wednesday drinking but don't want to risk harming a new pregnancy... I'll possibly not drink anyways just in case... No point going to a doctor either it's early days... Just wondered out of curiosity...

Thanks to all those constructively trying to help xx

L 2 F - I am asking for impartial advice from women who have possibly gone through the same thing. I am not asking for an expert opinion! Going to see a doctor means I have to take time off work etc etc. It was just a casual question aimed towards fellow ladies! If you have nothing constructive to say don't answer the question idiot!!!!

It's definitely possible, especially if you are trying for a baby. Try not to get your hopes up too high but go and buy a pregnancy test. The later you leave it the more likely you are to get an accurate result, so it would probably benefit to leave it a couple of days before you test. Try to look after yourself in the meantime.

Good luck and congratulations on deciding to become a family! Even if it's not positive, just remember it can easily take up to a year to conceive, and is only a problem if you haven't after two years. So you've plenty of time!!

Yes Ma'am, you may be pregnant. Not all women have the typical Pregnancy symptoms. I would wait a week and then take a test. A First Response test, will probably work best for you. It can give you accurate result up to 5 days before your missed period. Good Luck, hope you get the result you are looking for.

Divorce him. Why was a white guy doing on an Indian Matrimonial website anyway? O.o I would divorce him, I don't know if that's out of your religion or not but in america you can do it. Also it's not too hard to find a man that will take in another mans child, find one with a child of his own also. Some men in america are creeps, hell! Most but there are some good ones and I feel bad for you that you got stuck with a loser. America does have a lot of immorality. I'm a 23 yo american woman and I personally hate porn, I've made every boyfriend stop looking at it unless I was away and there was no way of him to make love to me. But do get out of that relationship if you are not happy and you want good things for your daughter. We have this thing called "child support" and you will get some if you fight for it in court. Hire a lawyer. Good Luck to you!

If your period is due at the end of the week you should wait till at least the day it is due to take a test. It is possible you had implantation bleeding, but it is also possible you spot a little during ovulation. If your not keeping track of your cycles then start to do so, if you have spotting every month about the same time in your cycle it may be because of ovulation.

Yes you could be, best way to check is with a pregnancy test around the time you would have been due a period, all the sighns that make you feel you are comming on can be early pregnancy sighns.

Trust your instincts, i normally find there right, i just know i was pregnant with each of my pregnancys.

Make a doc appoitment, and talk it over with him, they might do a blood test, as there very accurate at detecting pregnancys.

Good luck i hope you are. x

You might be pregnant !!!
Spotting Blood/Brown Discharge: This may occur when you are ovulating/mid-cycle. Sometimes early in pregnancy you may have spotting or a brownish discharge at the time your period would normally come. If you have spotting at the time of your normal period rather than your usual amount of flow, and you have had sex without using birth control, you should check a pregnancy test.

When I was pregnant with my daughter I had exactly the same symptoms. Just Round about the time my period would have been due. Later when I found out I was pregnant I asked the midwife about this . She explained this sometimes happens when the embrio is attaching itself to the lining of the womb.

Hope all goes well for you: don't be too disappointed if you have a period. Relax and it will happen. x
