Go to the doctor's get a note limiting the amount of work that you can do. Give your boss that note and she can't make you work harder than that. She can't fire you because of that because it would be covered by FMLA as long as the company was big enough and you've worked there long enough. I don't know if you get any medical benefits or not but that would be something to take into consideration before quitting. If your boss decides to go against the note tell her it's not in the best interest of your unborn child and it would be time to find a different job. Best wishes to you sweetie.

Remind your supervisor that you were promised some assistance and need it yesterday in order to keep working at what you are presently doing. If you can't get immediate help with the lifting, then tell the super to make the lifting someone Else's job until you have this baby or take maternity leave. Working that way only puts you in danger of miscarriage or prematurity of your unborn child. Along with those things can come the loss of your baby, disastrous birthing experiences causing birth defects to the baby, and ill health to you in the pregnancy. By federal law, when you are pregnant, certain allowances have to be made which allow you to continue working sometimes up until the day you give birth. Check it out and submit a grievance to your super if you get nowhere when you bring it up again. Slavery has been abolished!

first off you need to talk to your doctor about how you are feeling? There is no reason you should have suicide dreams just because you have to lift heavy stuff at work. You need to ask yourself are you happy you are preg? or did it come as a shock and you are still dealing with it? When I was preg. I don't think I could sleep at all during that last 6 months, because my daughter had her days and nights mixed up and she would be always on the move during the night but I never had suicide dreams and I worked as a fire/water tech and we lifted all the time because we packed out house after house for the insurance comps. But maybe you just need a different job just until the baby comes maybe like a phone job or behind the desk kind, but you should really talk to your doctor and tell him about the dreams of suicide dreams and let him know what you are going through because that is not healthy, hope that helps

First off, I wouldn't quit your job. You will have trouble finding a new one being that you're pregnant. Trust me, daughter is 4 months pregnant and in a hormonal blind rage she quit hers and can't get another one because no one wants to hire a pregnant woman. I would go to your doctor and tell him the amount of weight you're lifting and ask if this is a problem. If it is, then I would defiantely get a note putting you on restrictive duty indicating that you can't lift anything heavier than a certain amount of pounds. Stop stressing yourself. This is the hormones causing all the turmoil. Just do the best you can and stop worrying about it. You can't only do what you can do. If they decide to let you go because you can't perform your job duties then you can file for unemployment while you look for a new job.

Ultimately, your decision is up to you. YOu may be in a situation where you can't or may not want to quit your job just yet. But you have to remember you are carrying a life inside of you now. and from the moment you found out you were pregnant, your life is no longer just about you. YOu have to remember and always consider your child. You are pregnant and some stages of your pregnancy are more critical than others. you have to be careful, and if you have explained the situation to your boss, and she still requires you to do strenous things that could put you and your child at risk, you may want to go ahead and quit. I'm sure there are plenty of other places that will allow you to do lighter duties throughout the day, take breaks, and have assistance if you need it.

I don't think you should quit working because a baby will be expensive. You should get a note from your doctor to take care of this and if they don't get help just refuse to do it. If nothing else works you should quit that job and try to get a part time job, but I don't know who would hire a pregnant lady who will be on maternal leave shortly. Good Luck.

Insecurities and scarcity of self assurance while the question are as you have suggested. Its not carried out to reason an agrument yet as you're saying it probable will in case you do not provide the marvelous reaction. Get in there first tell her she seems super and the different female isn't something next to her. Its not undesirable behavior its only being considerate. I guess you lie lots quite than tell the blunt honest reality in many circumstances for the duration of the day. Its what all of us can we fib a sprint so we dont harm peoples emotions.

I am not sure why you can't lift files. Mothers have to lift heavy children all of the time, all while pregnant with the younger ones. If you really can't lift then you should ask your doctor to put you on disability for the rest of your pregnancy.

First of all if they havent hired somebody thats crap. You need to get a doctors note saying you cant lift over so many pounds and give it to your boss. Thats if you want to continue working there. But try not to stress. I think a doctors note would work plus they cant fire you for it.

your job says you have to lift heavy files. it doesn't say you got to get pregnant. if you can't do your job then you got to go. if you can't lift more than 20 pounds then you will have to lift 10 pounds twice, and take twice as long.
