Every abortion is just...
One more heart that was stopped
Two more eyes that will never see
Two more hands that will never touch
Two more legs that will never run
One more mouth that will never speak
and two more arms that will never hug.

No Baby deserves to be in a trash can.

Any comments?

why do you keep going on and on?

i don't tell you how you should live your life , what choices you should make etc

stop forcing your opinion down everyones throat. You don't agree with abortion, fine, don't have one. I find it amusing that almost every person who is saying things like 'keep your legs crossed', 'your not adult enough to have sex', is MALE.

i have had TWO abortions, and i am PROUD that i can stand up and not be forced into a life of being just a baby maker. I will be a FANTASTIC mother WHEN I CHOOSE TO BE (please don't go on about you should have used protection blah, no contraceptive is 100% reliable)

No baby deserves to be in a trashcan, but yet the increased likelihood one will end up there because of a scared young mother unable to obtain an abortion because so many people believe they should be outlawed for any reason; unable to tell her parents or anyone for that matter of her condition, hiding her condition until the day she gives birth after which she promptly discards the baby in the nearest trash can or whatever else is convenient.

This is not all black and white. I don't like having abortions because someone/they decide she/they're "not ready". A 13 year old girl that is raped and ends up pregnant should not be made to carry the child to term if she and her parnts do not want her to. Why should she face all the scrutiny and hard times by being a 13 year old pregnant girl?

A woman who is told she is in grave danger by carrying her child should not be made to carry the child if she decides that she does not want to. What is worse, losing a child or losing a mother AND child leaving behind a husband and other children who need her?

There needs to be that opportunity to make the choice, because it is not all the same situation.

oh BROTHER!!!!!!!!!!

Shall we extend that to every pregnancy that was prevented through birth control pills, condoms, IUD's, etc.??

Or how about without options, there would be that many more children brought into the world in foster care, out on the street, in abusive homes, etc. etc.

There are too many variables that we can NEVER really understand.

Stop making presumptions.

Let's not tell each other what to believe.

If you are pro-life, then don't have any abortions in your life.

If you are raped on the way home from work tonight and it results in pregnancy, you go right ahead and have that baby. That's YOUR right.

If your condom breaks and you get pregnant, you go right ahead and have that baby... even though you are in school and the father has no job and neither of you have anyone who will help you out. THAT's YOUR RIGHT.

But if somone else decides that they need to make a different choice. LET THEM HAVE THEIR RIGHTS TOO.

STOP trying to make them feel guilty for their chocies. I assure you that the choice was hard enough without your guilt trip.

Let's speak up for the children that ARE here. THEY are the ones who need a voice. Let's go out and do something for THEM and stop trashing doctors for providing a needed service. And let's stop harrassing women who were faced with a very difficult decision in a very hard situation. We don't know what led them there.

MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS.

I am so sorry to hear all these people verbally thrashing you. I know, however that you're strong enough to take what ever those people say. They just don't understand what a gift their own life is. God knew each and every single one of us even "before he knitted us in the womb". Each of those babies is important to God and come into this world as a gift.
Abortion hurts women and takes lives. Somebody has to say something for these tiny people.
Good for you!!
I enjoyed the other poem you had on here too! Thanks for sharing!!

I think Jadalina was very correct. Babies don't deserve to be born in unfavorable conditions. But let's quit blaming the babies. If adults aren't ready to be parents -- they aren't ready for sex. Let the babies be born -- then abort the parents!

Yeah. No child deserves to be born to parents who didn't want it, or to languish in foster care because he's unwanted. Go adopt some unwanted children, (and I don't mean cute babies, I mean kids, because no one seems to care about them when they're not infants) then cry to me about ones that haven't even been born.

To the first answerer...
What a jerk! OMG do you know how many babies are killed every day! The world may never have peace cuz the peacemaker that could make the difference was killed before birth.

To the writer...
So true.. And its sad.. Theres gotta be a way to stop this and we'll find it sooner or latter
