I was put on birth conrtol for my periods. I took the pill for the first month without missing a single day. The second month my boyfriend and I decided to have sex. We did not use a condom. I had just gotten off my period, I was on the second day of the second pack. After he had left my mind started to spin. "What if" was the only thing I could think of. I satrted reading my pill pack information pamphlet. It said I hade a 1% chance of being pregnant. But, it also said it took 3 months for the pill to become affective. That was at the begining of January, whole month that is all that was on my mind. I have only had sex once since then, that time we used a condom. I'm suppose to of started 2 days ago, but I haven't yet! I know I should of used a condom. Please help me!!

My doctor told me that if you take them the whole first month they are in your system already. You may just be starting your period late, I always did with my pills, I was supposed to start on Sunday and it always took until Wed. That was how it always was since I was on the pill, the pill can make your periods shorter. If you missed your period already then you can take a pregnancy test and see what it says, but I think that you are not that likely to be pregnant.

You are ridiculous. How are we supposed to know. Take a freaking test, that's what they are for.
