I am only 4 inches long
but I have all my organs.

today I learned how to suck my thumb.

Mommy, he lied to you.
He said that I'm not a baby.

I can hear that doctor again.
I don't like him.
He seems cold and heartless.

If there is a medical problem that involes a life or death situation, then fine. Thats understandable. But what about people who use abortion as birth control because they cant except consequences? As far a rape, what about adoption? Theres plenty of people who cant have kids that would love one. And I'm narrrow minded?? Please.

I've read this before. It's quite good. I skipped on reading it all this time because at 8 months pregnant my emotions would be in tatters after reading it all. But I believe anyone who ever considers abortion as an option should have to read this "poem" and look at pictures of actual aborted fetuses (or is it fetusi?). I've seen some and it is soooooooooo sad. Abortion should never be an option (I would not condemn someone who was raped of medically could not carry the child though, I wouldn't agree but I wouldn't condemn either). It's just soooooo very sad.

i think of we would desire to continually provide a huge gamble for toddler to be born. Human and animals alike.. nature have a thank you to regulate them (incredibly for animals). i don't have a puppy atm, yet there are a team of stray cats in my complicated that help to regulate the rat inhabitants (and lizard, they each so often consume them).

So you think the embryo is aware of its feelings and emotions that early on in gestation, pfft give me a break.
What about abortions that are a result of rape? What about the mothers who are unable to provide for their child, I'm sure you would rather make a fully developed childs life a living hell than end the life of an EMBRYO.
This isn't even a question, it just seems like useless propaganda to me...anyone with half a brain will know that an embryo in the first trimester is merely a CLUMP OF UNDIFFERENTIATED CELLS, what you're doing is comparing an embryo to a fully grown infant.
Raising a child is a BIG DEAL and requires a HUGE COMMITMENT, you need to be well prepared both financially and emotionally. Someone who does not want a baby should not have to raise one out of guilt or pressure because it is certainly not fair on the child and whose fault is that?
A child HAS the ability to think and feel UNLIKE a mere embryo so stop making these false analogies.

I'm against abortion in many cases but what if a girl you cared about got pregnant unvoluntarily (rape), would you still want her to have that baby?

i absolutely agree that abortion is wrong. however the poem is incorrect... a fetus is not able to hear anything until around 5 months' gestation :)

OMG i almost cried! Im 1 month along with #2 and i can imagine going getting an abortion...im sure some have their reasons but i dont have it in me...we tried to hard to get pregnant with this blessing!!!

So if someone women did not abort then who would take care of all these kids that are neglected. As much as these people that don't support abortion they don't support the kids that are put into foster systems and are homeless and things like that. So I think for the people who feel this way about abortion should adopt these babies. Not every woman who gets an abortion is careless or not loving.
