I keep hearing and reading about people having measurments done to predict the size of their baby and was dissapointed when my dr told me that he doesnt do this because he doesnt find it to be accurate. well even so i would like a good guess! Also i have only had my one ultrasond done at 20 weeks and he does not plan on doing another one. Does this seem right? Im jealous of everyone who gets to have a few ultrasounds and measurements! All he does is tap around my belly for size of uterus and positioning of baby.

i had sex with my bf like after christmas like on the 26. 27.28 adn bla but hes my only adn my first i took birth control on the 24 but i didnt take ne more after that until i got home the 31 or something then i had sex again the next weekend without protection. im bloated and its the eighteenth of january and im worried freaking im reckless. i cant sleep adn im just rele worried idk if i am or not but idont get huungry very often only around like lunch at school sometimes and then like around bedtime but thats usual. i dont know exactly when im suppose to start and ive been having a lot of discharge and i dont iknow please help me

Only a few days late but have never been late and not pregnant. But i feel very crampy and bloated like im on a period. Is this possible to feel this way and still be pregnant?

I'm looking for answers from people who have experienced this first hand.

We are taking our 21 month old son to Walt Disney World in a week. We know this is really a vacation for "us" but we want him to have a good time as well. We plan on being much slower paced, and resting a lot with plenty of downtime for him.

I'd love to know of attractions or places in any of the parks that were huge hits with your toddlers. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I know I have to work on my metabolism, so can anyone give me a good meal plan (like the five little meals you're supposed to eat to raise your metabolism) which has helped you? im 32 weeks pregnant and i have these scabs in my head..like on my scalp..the reson i think they stem from my pregnancy is cause i got them around the time i was 16 or 17 weeks and theyve stayed with me since then.

they annoy me and the disgust me and im embarassed of them..and considering the fact im ike extra emotional now i hate when people bring thm up..i start crying..has anyone else had this happen to them??

My son was stillborn at 20.5 weeks on Sept 29 2006. Dec 29 2006 I found out I was pregnant again. Of course I'm terrified. My problem is, when I was pregnant with my son, one of the girls I work with was pregnant also, in fact she was due 6 days after me. She is still pregnant and every time I look at her it breaks my heart. My co-workers are planning a baby shower for her. My manager says I should go because I'm pregnant again so my loss is "no big deal anymore"(b♦tch). I refused to go, stating that not only would it be uncomfortable for me, but it would be for the pregnant girl as well. SO she decided to have the shower during work hours. I am not comfortable with this at all and I know that I'll just wind up crying the whole time. How can I get out of this? Pulling a sick day is not an option. And remember, my son being stillborn almost 4 months ago is no longer an issue in her eyes as I'm pregnant again. The counselor I'm seeing thinks it's a bad idea for me to go as well.

I am on the birth control patch, Ortho Evra. I did not want to get my period over Christmas break so I wore 2 extra patches, not at the same time, I mean I went 5 weeks without my period. I had sex with my boyfriend a few times over break. When I take my patch off it always takes a day or two before I get my period, which is always spotting late at night on the first day (which happened) and then very heavy by morning (did not happen). Today is my third day with a rather light period, not light enough to go without a tampon or pad, but way lighter than I am used to. This has happened once before where I used extra patches to put off my period, and I had a light period, almost non existent, only at the time I had not had sex. Am I worrying about nothing? or could I be pregnant?

She just turned 18. She has picked up smoking, thinks it is a secret so far. I'm devastated, as my father died of lung cancer 6 years ago...and I was the one making the medical decisions. I don't want to have to do that eventually for her too. I'm so concerned about her health.

I have a 4 month old daugther, who still sleeps in her bassinet, well until tonight. I have been putting her in her crib during the day for naps so she would get use to it, and well tonight she cried when I put her down in her bassinet and just would not settle down, so I decided well lets try the crib and well shes out like a light. She wanted her crib, me on the other hand, Im not ready for this step, but I gotta let her sleep in the crib cause shes soon going to be out of the bassinet anyways. Im such a proud mommy right now, I can't believe she decided on her own she wanted to sleep in her crib. I just wanted to tell you all, and see if anyone else is at this step, taking baby out of their room to sleep and how they deal with it. Im just going nuts, wondering if I will hear in the morning even though I have the monitor on. How do other parents cope with this big change??

This is my 3rd baby and I have read that usually you go into labor right away when the baby drops after the first pregnancy, but no labor as of yet. Anyone else ever had this happen? And how long was it before you went into labor?
