I didn't get scabs, but they most likely are pregnancy related because your hormones may be causing your skin to get irritated. I got huge, almost cyst like acne all over my body right around the same time you are in my pregnancy. It went away after the baby was born. Your scabs will go away too once the baby is born. I can sympathize.

I had the opposite effect--I broke out like a teenager. I think it's rude for people to mention this problem to you. I think it's just your hormones going crazy and this is the effect unfortunately. But, look on the bright side, it's almost over. Good luck to you and the new bundle!

Are you sure they are scabs??? After my third child i had this bump on my hairline. Honestly I thought it was a wart it grew and grew and if i barely touched it it would bleed for hours. I tried the wart medicine and it only made it bleed. I finally went to my doc and he refered me to a dermatologist. She said it had to do with my hormones and it was something kinda like a blood blister is my best way to explain it. She numbed me up and removed it that day. She said it usually happens to women that are prego. GO TO YOU DOC AND GO SEE A DERMATOLIGIST. Good luck

It could be psoriasis. Often brought on by stress - which being preggers is!
Ask your OB to look at them, but if it is psoriasis, they are nothing but a really really dry patch. There are several OTC remedies, and some may be safe to use while with child.

I would check with your doctor about it. Many women experience different things during pregnancy, and chances are high that these will disappear once your hormones get back to normal after the baby's birth.
