I know I have to work on my metabolism, so can anyone give me a good meal plan (like the five little meals you're supposed to eat to raise your metabolism) which has helped you? I just don't know where to start. What is good to eat when and how much of what.. can you guys just give me an idea of what I should eat throughout the day.. I'm desperate to get this baby weight off!! Thanks so much!

Workout tape/dvd MOM and ME or any other post workout.

Wheat Oats cooked each morning and no caffeine the whole day. With one serving fruit. One 8ounce glass of water.

As for lunch and dinner eat a balanced meal from the pyramid. And make sure you have the full 8 ounces of water with each meal.

2 Snacks as you like with good fat. Not Saturated fats
4ounce juice or 1 serving fruit again that darn water 8 ounces

You must have 1,800 cal to nurse your baby. If your not nursing you still need the calories for muscle and bones. After you have a baby you can lose bone mass. So you are not to starve your body. And the above will feed your body but not your fat.

The Oats raise your metabolism but you must eat every morning. thats why it may get boring in the am you will have to add fruits/nuts to keep the interest. But if you eat them for 12 weeks you raise it like 12%

I lost all of my baby weight within a week. It went straight to my baby's fat little thighs. For the most part, nursing alone will take off most of the baby weight within the few weeks after pregnancy - and put it right onto the baby. Anyway, keep your calorie intake up, you should still be eating like you were still pregnant for at least the next two years after pregnancy. Eat lots of fats, but *healthy* fats are key. Say "no" to meat/deep fried foods/etc. and "yes" to olive oil on your pasta! Raw sunflower seeds are a tasty source of fat. Sprouting them will cut down the fat content but increase the protein content (or so I've heard).

I'm personally pretty keen on all kinds of sprouts and eat them in great quantities. They are a good source of vitamins and protein, and have a very high water content as well. Check out sproutpeople.com for ideas on the kinds of things you can sprout. If you're feeling rich you can buy stuff from their website, but it's not hard to sprout in a plastic ziploc bag with pinholes poked in it inside of another ziploc bag.

Start the day with a glass of water! Oats for b/fast, soup and salad mid-day, biscuits for tea, fruits and salad evening meal, soup b'fore dinner, glass of milk with honey at night: some very light snacks when very hungry, during the day: just one good meal, just the one, in a week to keep life going! Good luck!

Try eating a piece of fruit *before* each meal. It helps fill you up and boost your metabolism.

If you are nursing you must keep your calories up. If not, then you can watch your calorie intake and also get out everyday and walk. If the weather is nice, even little ones can benefit from a nice stroll. The best thing you can do for yourself is to stay away from all empty calories (cola, chips, fast food, candy, etc.) This did it for me immediately. I lost 40 pounds and have kept it off for several years. Hope this helps. :)
