I am on the birth control patch, Ortho Evra. I did not want to get my period over Christmas break so I wore 2 extra patches, not at the same time, I mean I went 5 weeks without my period. I had sex with my boyfriend a few times over break. When I take my patch off it always takes a day or two before I get my period, which is always spotting late at night on the first day (which happened) and then very heavy by morning (did not happen). Today is my third day with a rather light period, not light enough to go without a tampon or pad, but way lighter than I am used to. This has happened once before where I used extra patches to put off my period, and I had a light period, almost non existent, only at the time I had not had sex. Am I worrying about nothing? or could I be pregnant?

Abusing birthcontrol is not at all smart nor is it a good ideal. you should have just went with some plan b if you are worried bout becoming preg. take that with in 72 hours of unprotected sex and you will not become preg. next time do some research please......
