its been 3 months almost should i be getting it soon or should i call

For a newborn, they usually advise within 12 weeks. With my first daughter I recieved it in 6 weeks, and my new baby is 7 weeks old, and I haven't recieved it. If it's been three months, you should contact the social security administration.

wow, 3 months? I got my sons in 1 week after applying. But they do say it could take up to 3-6 months. You could try calling though, they will tell you if the baby has a number at least yet. good luck.

Normally, six to eight weeks. If it goes longer, call to be sure the card has been processed. If it hasn't, ask what to do.
