Pregnancy & Parenting - 18 January 2007

Any suggestions? His doctors not to worried about it but I want him to get better. Also anyone have the same problem, when did it go away? He has been treated for GERD when he was younger but the medication didnt help any.

my bf's son is spolied rottten from his parents guilt over the divorce(he was a baby when they divorced and does not even remember them together)they both allow him to walk all over them and give into his ever wish.i really could care less what his mom does but his dad is just as bad and i live with my bf.he wants consent attention from my bf and has a fit if my bf shows me any.he also consently talks back to us mostly me and i have a hard time getting him to behave for me.how can i get my bf to get over his guilt and step up as a parent and discipline his child.also can any stepmoms give me any advice on how i can get his child to listen and respect me.i have been with my bf for 4 yrs and the older his son gets the worse its getting.

I'm 35 weeks pregnant and my Doctor hasn't performed a pelvic exam to see if I have dilated or anything of that nature. Is it common not to have this done this far along? I see posts on here all the time from women who aren't as far along as I and know where they are. Should I ask my OB to do this for me if he doesn't at my next visit?

He told me his head was hurting and he had a fever and I gave him 2 chewable childrens Bayer asprin, that isn't even the recommended dose. I lated called a nurselink line and they told me not to give children asprin at any time....why is that?

i tryed different types,different brands and even though some were more gentle on his stomach their all alittle harsh on his tummy. would fruits and veggies would easier on his tummy and also would if fill his tummt like cereal?

My son is four and has been going to the potty fine for about 2 yrs now. We recently took a trip that was about 1500 miles away by car (don't know if that has anything to do with it) but When we returned all of a sudden he started having problems going to the bathroom. He'll act as though he has to go and instead of going, he'll hold it and then he'll complain later that his but hurts from it. and has been going like every ten min. or so. so I quess my question would be, what is causing this, if he were doing it for attention I could understand but he isn't going to poop that much for attention. Is it part of an infection or something,something I should be concerned about? should I take him to the doctor? He has been doin this for about a week. does n-e one know what this could be?

I'm 19 and I've been with my bf for about 10 mos now. We are not necessarily trying to get pregnant, but we aren't trying to stop it either. We've been having sex for about 6 mos without protection, and still no pregnancy. I don't want to do anything to MAKE it happen, I'm just now starting to get worried that maybe I can't get pregnant at all...and I really don't want that! So if anyone knows anything....please help me ease my mind! :0) Thanks!

How would you feel if your partners mother stayed at your house for a month just after the baby was born.

My brothers partner's mother is staying with them for the first month they have the baby at home to help out.

My brothers partner would only be at home by herself while my brother is at work, even then he works less than 5 minutes away.

I feel it should be something shared between a couple and not have someone telling you how to raise your kid.

How would you feel about this happening.

i just had sex with my gf today for the first time. she was just coming off of her period a day or 2 ago.

I also urinated 10 minutes before she came over and did not masturbate during the time.

when i was putting the condom on i accidentally unrolled it backwards onto me. i flipped it over and rolled it the right way and had sex but im worried to much now. i bought a spermicidal condom and what if some of my precum got on there. is there a chance she could have gotten pregnant or something. ive never had sex before then that so no STD's for me. for sure, because sometimes the tests are wrong.

I have a job, and im searching for another one
so i can save up money for college, but if i am
things are gonna change ovbously
the father is my boyfriend at the moment
but i was planning on breaking up with him soon
because im still in love with my ex that i dated for
two years, and we finally come to our differences
and want to work it out, but if i am pregnant i dont just want to leave him . . i know he would still be there financially and for the baby as well.

I have a child with my ex bf, he broke up with me half way through my pregnacyand married another women. He is in and out of the picture but when he is he calls, he calls me names, yells at me and says I am trying to keep his son from him then hangs up on me befor we can work something out. All I ask is we meet in the middle. The money he gives me isnt even enough to pay for formula. Tonite I told him that I wont put up with it anymore and have not heard anything back. Should I just take what he throws to have a father in the picture??? Why am I so upset?

ok, those of us that have children and more so teenagers may be able to help here. i am trying to teach my 13 yr old daughter to keep her room tidy ( this is an on going sage and being my 3rd child and last please let me succeed with just one lol!) anyway, each week she is responsible to iron her own clothes. she gets paid $10 a week regardless if she has heaps of ironing or just a few (the theory was if she didnt throw clean clothes on the floor which in turn gets put out to be washed she would have less to iron) now i dont expect her to iron to the same standard as me but i do expect the clothes to not look like she slept in them. But when i go to put other things away in her room i see that her clothes are folded instead of hung up and they are wrinkled again. do i ignore it or should i point it out?
part of me says that as long as i dont have to do her ironing keep quiet. but then i feel like i am not teaching her the right way. what do you think?
