You will have to talk to your parents and also to the father about this. You can either have the baby and keep it or put it up for adoption. Open adoption these days gives you an opportunity to choose the parents you want for your child. Most of the time you can see the child and share pictures etc. Or you can keep the baby. I might suggest taking a year off from college to have the baby and then continue. My daughter did this and it worked out good for her although she did marry the father. First thing, tell your mother. Mothers are there to help you and support you. You have time to make your decision. Good luck.

Well, since you're planning on college and everything I would say finish out the pregnancy, but put the baby up for adoption. There are many families out there that are childless and better equipped to care for a baby than you right now, and if you let someone else love this one then when you are through with school you'll be much better off than if you had kept it, and you can get married and have kids when you're more ready.

Right now I don't think you or the baby would benefit if you kept it, but an abortion would be a waste when so many people want kids and can't have their own........

Hope I helped! (Get a bunch of other opinions too though, cause I'm 18 too and haven't had a baby yet, so I don't really know how that is.)

Like all people else has said you ought to take a scan to discover. It additionally depends upon how long in the past you overlooked your period. In case you are just a few days out from missing it then these signs wouldnt be displaying so early in being pregnant but when it has been a subject of weeks or even months then i'd say yeah there is a pretty good threat you might be pregnant. Which you could additionally go see a healthcare professional and have a blood scan achieved to see if you're, these are more accurate than the urine assessments. Excellent good fortune. Just as a matter of interest, how lengthy has it been in view that you missed your interval?

#1- the thing with the ex boyfriend may not work out again. Tell your current boyfriend and see how it goes from there. This is a life that God has placed in your life for "some" reason. I had my first child at 18 and I broke up with the father to be with my ex bf whom I had dated for 2 years and was deeply still in love with. Only to have him break my hart again. I ended up alone and pregnant until I met my now husband. He was there for me the rest of the pregnancy and in the delivery room and is helping me raise my son now. Stay with the good guy while you have them. They are rare and hard to find. Please don't fall for the ex again because from experience I know it's most likely a spiteful attempt. and you'll end hurt again.

I am 19 years od an also pregnant. Abortion is wrong, it's murder. If you don't think that you can take care of a baby, than adoption may be best, if u can live with knowing that a child of yours is out their, and the father might disagrre to this idea. I am in college and also work. You can still go to college in the fall and have ajob. You can go to a community college part time and work the other half of the time. If you don't think you can raise your child, adoption is always a possiblity. You don't even have to give the child to an adoption agency. You can find couples who want to have children and are willing to pay for all your medical expenses until the baby is born and then, they will take the baby off of your hands. Sometimes, in situations like that, you can even have partial rights to visit your child.

Talk to your boyfriend and either give the baby up for adoption or let him help you to raise the child. Since you like children so well it would probably be too difficult on you emotionally to have an abortion. After this use a good birth control.

This has to be your decision; it's not for someone who doesn't know you and your personal situation to decide. If I were in your situation, I would unquestionably have an abortion (and I'm sure I'll get a lot of thumbs-down for saying so), but that's the truth. Ultimately, you must decide what is best for YOU. Good luck!

Consider adoption. There are thousands of families that will take excellent care of your baby and treasure him/her for the rest of your life.

We are a hopeful adoptive family and can't wait for the right adoption situation to come along!

Good luck in your decision.

By the way-when a pregnancy test shows positive, it 99.99 percent correcct. It's never wrong when it shows positive.

Unless you have a very rare medical condition, a positive test means that you are pregnant.

Adoption is always an option! It is a very unselfish act that I would strongly suggest that you consider well before thoughts of an abortion!
