My son went through this too until he was the same age...actually it just stopped and then came back today! Alot of the time it seems it may be from eating a little too much and/or drinking too much milk or juice then moving around while playing. If his spitting up starts to affect his weight and or anything else then maybe get a second doctor's opinion. At this age these kids are so active that it seems difficult for them to even find time to digest their food. lol Good luck!

My son is 16 months old now, and its just started to fade away, although he did just have a little spit up after rough housing with his older brother! sometimes a lot of movement can trigger it. I know the smell is so grose! unfortunately theres not a whole lot you can do about it, but know that its almost over, because he's already 1. Good Luck with your answers.

Have you tried soy formula or soy milk? It may be some sort of intolerance to the lactose. My cousin's baby had GERD really bad and she finally tried soy formula and things got better really quickly (the medicine wasn't helping).

I always made sure my children sat upright for a good twenty minutes and only gave them water at bedtime. This seemed to help with the spit-up episodes, especially with my daughter. I hope this helps :)
