Ok, my periods have been weird ever since October when I quit the patch quicker than I should have. My husband and I just got married, but want to try for kids soon. Last week, I spotted really light pink for a couple of days, then nothing. I thought my period was going to start and it didn't. I have an 8 year old so it wouldn't be my first child. I've been queasy and exhausted. I chalked it up to getting a cold since my throat has been scratchy for a couple days now, but I am beginning to wonder if it's more than one thing combined. Can you still get pregnant even when your periods aren't regular right now?

I am having cramps in my left side and I feel bloated... I'm 5 DPO. My period isn't due until 24th January. I don't think I normally cramp this early but could it just be period pain? When do you normally get PMS?

so the paternal grand mother just found out she is a grand mother and has a 9 month old grand son. Her son never told her and just did at thanksgiving because he now has to pay child support. She was hurt and furious! The son is 28 years old and isn't owing up to being a poppa....his father said if he isn't involved in the child's life they shouldn't be because it will only confused the child and the sister...aunt needs to detach herself emotionally and physically from the baby and not talk to the mom anymore. Personally, I think it's bullshit. The child will not be confused if you give a child everything they need, tell them the truth, and they have a strong stable environment...in which that is possible and great role models. I think this family is selfish and needs to tell their son to be a man. He is 28 years old and the real mom just found out she has a grand child!!! Well what are her rights if she wants a relationship with her grand child?

My son was dating a girl , she got pregnant. When the child was born my son, trusting soul, signed the birth certificate. Now, due to recent information, there are some serious questions as to whether he is the child father..and she has left and took the child. If a paternity test is taken and it shows he is not the father is he still responsible for the child?

I am 21 weeks and havent felt any movement yet. I have read books and the What to Expect book says it can feel like gas, popcorn, fluttering.. I havent felt any of this... maybe I have felt movement though and just havent realized it. How do you describe it?

Hi! My hubby and I are looking for some ideas of things to do with his little sister on the weekends. We've done the zoo, Greenlake Park, the aquarium and children's museum.
Looking for something new to try. She's super smart and easily bored. She is not completely verbal yet so sometimes a routine trip to the park can get a bit overwhelming for her. Thanks!

my perioda last from 7 to 9 days.why the little bleeding? never did that b4?dec 13 i had a heavy period like always . the on jan 8th i had a streak of blood when i wipped , the jan 13,14,15 th same thing on my when i used bathroom, now this evening nothing at all..i took afternoon preg test and it was neg. so my period is like 3 days late, but i feel sick and moody alot, or is it im wishing i was preg? i have sex like 3 times day espec after i heard about when my egg could get released =]..any old wise tales?

We went for our first apt, and at the ultra sound lady said we were 11 wks along, but our ob said the day before that we were about 14 wks along, But at any rate, At the ultra sound the babys heart rate was 166 bpm. We were looking up some info and fact online and found that the ordinary unborn baby at that stages bpm was 135-150 bpm. I know it is just a few beat higher than that, is this any cause for concern or what? My OB is out on maternity leave and wednesday i get to meet my temp ob. Should i wait to ask her or what. this is my first, so maybe i am just being paranoid

Hi. My cycle is 28 days. My period was due January 7th (Day 1 of the cycle). On that day, nothing occurred, but later on that night, I experienced brownish spotting when I went to the bathroom, but nothing else. Day 2 and 3 was virtually the same, nothing but a bit of brownish discharge and spotting. Not even enough to wear a pad, let alone a panty liner. On the night of Day 3 I had sex, afterwards I urinated and there was a tiny bit of red blood instead of brown, but even that tapered off within 2 hours. It wasn't even enough to consider it a 'light' period. Now is day 4, and it's stopped completely. It's like I barely even had a period at all. I ALWAYS have heavy periods so it was shocking that by day 2 & 3, there was hardly anything but a bit of brownish fluid on the toilet paper! And then today, which was Day 4, there was nothing at all! It stopped! My periods last a full 7 days and it's always heavy! On days 5 and 6, also nothing, at all. It had completely stopped. Day 6 I took a pregnancy test and it said negative. But, I've been having headaches and today (day 9 of my cycle) I had some pretty bad cramps in my lower abdominal & pubic region.

Is it possible that I am pregnant and tested too early? Is it possible that I experienced implantation bleeding on day one when my period was to start, or it was just an extremely light period? My sister experienced this very same thing (implantation bleeding that she mistook for a really light period) and she was actually pregnant.

Or am I just overreacting, and am probably not pregnant?

Okay, I have this project for history due tommorow.. [end of the quarter].. and I have like 100 [literally] math missing assignments to do.. and it's 10:43 PM already.. my mom is like dead asleep.. so she can't go buy me the stuff I need for my project right now.. I guess I was just goofing off this whole week.. [suntanning, football, etc] but I need some good excuse I can tell my mom to write it on a piece of paper and then turn it in to the teacher so I can have till Wednesday? 10 points to best excuse.

My daughter is regressing. She was getting better and better at reading everyday. She would try reading all by herself and really try no matter what. Now, she seems so unmotivated and doesn't want to try anything harder than the level she is at right now...She's also forgetting the vowel sounds and rules!
How do I get her to WANT to read more and keep moving forward.

She has been sleeping through the night since she was 4 weeks old, then she had a spout of colic for several months, but since about 4 months, she has been sleeping like a rock. But lately, she will not go to sleep, I got 3 hours of sleep last night, I just dont know what to do. I feed her enough during the day, she isnt cutting teeth...any ideas? Please!

Hello sir,
iam 13 weeks pregnant, My LMP is 16 oct 2006.
Iam 20years.

From yesterday i.e, 15 jan 2007 i didn't have my dinner as iam in a depression bcoz i fought with my husband. and i didn't have my breakfast today morning and I had only water and one cup of Tea with biscuits.
So, I just want to know will this will effect my child's health. I may not have in the lunch time also. Bcoz iam totally out of control( in the sense in a depression mood) where i don't want to have anything.
Please reply as soon as possible and tell me will this will effect my child's health and what are those effects.

Okay this is an odd question. I know second hand smoke is bad, but I am in a huge dilemma. I do not smoke and I do not go over to my father in law who smokes. However, we live in apartments and the people below us smoke. Somehow the smoke permeates to the top to our apartment. Can someone suggest ways to keep the smoke from entering our apartment? What would the risk of secondhand smoke be if there is the smell? I am 11 weeks and 2 days pregnant. We can't break our lease but do you think we might have to move? I know these are long winded questions but my concerns are for my unborn child. I am not ignorant of the risks, but I wasn't sure whether there would be a greater threat and what your opinions were on the issue.

My friend's son asked his dad (my friend) if he and one of his friends could use the family car for a road trip going half way across the country for about a week. He said that he will be happy to give the family his somewhat less reliable car to use. My friend said no way at first, but is now starting to consider it. I think he is starting to think that if he says no, his son will try to do it in his own unreliable car. He asked me for my advice and I know that they are both really good kids and would never do any drinking, partying, etc (not to mention they are both Mormon). I'm just not sure if it's a good idea or not, though. Any parents out there who want to give their input.
