my perioda last from 7 to 9 days.why the little bleeding? never did that b4?dec 13 i had a heavy period like always . the on jan 8th i had a streak of blood when i wipped , the jan 13,14,15 th same thing on my when i used bathroom, now this evening nothing at all..i took afternoon preg test and it was neg. so my period is like 3 days late, but i feel sick and moody alot, or is it im wishing i was preg? i have sex like 3 times day espec after i heard about when my egg could get released =]..any old wise tales?

It could very well be implantation bleeding (which is where the fertilized egg burrows its way through your endometrial lining, and implants itself in your uterus. Your body then starts producing the chemical hormone HCG, which is what pregnancy tests look for.) I myself may be experiencing implantation bleeding, and my sister did. She had the spotting and streaks of blood which stopped after a couple of days, around the time she was supposed to start her period, and she turned out to be pregnant. What occurred to her was implantation bleeding.. So you definitely could be pregnant, but please don't worry or be scared.
I would wait a few days and test. If it is negative, wait a week or another few days and test again. If you still feel that you may be pregnant, go to your local health department or doctor.

I had to wait a week until my period was late to get a positive result, before that I got two negatives back. Its possible that your streak of blood could have been implantation of a pregnancy...many women bleed when this happens. If you are feeling any early symptoms then its possible that you are pregnant. Moodiness is an early indicator and although midwifes will tell you that Morning sickness doesnt normally start until around 6 weeks many women get it immediately. Just a small tip if you arent pregnant though and want to try next month...I was always told to only have sex once a day when ovulating because by your man coming three times a day its lessening the amount of sperm produce so one ejaculation is better than three if that makes sense. If you havent come on by the end of the week do another test. When I fell pregnant this time I felt like I was due on so i told my Doctor I was 4 days late but felt like I was due on and he said well if you feel due on then you aren't pregnant but obviously I was. Also always use early morning urine samples at this stage to test...as it has the highest level of the pregnancy hormone in it. Goodluck x

Just a note, a girlfriend of mine was 2 weeks late and still wasn't testing positive unti labout 3 weeks after her period was due.
She finally received a faint line on a test and confirmed a pregnancy by blood.
I have had 2 miscarriages myself but always foudn out first by faint lines and then confirmed pregnanices by blood...
If you are this concerned, make sure you are past your expected period due date, take a home test, and then go and get some bloodwork done :)

HPT works on your HCG levels, could be that yours were too low to be detected. The bleeding/spotting you had could also be implantation bleeding (when the egg "implants" into the uterus lining). Do you have a 28 Day Cycle or longer? Try searching the net on how your menstrual cycle works, maybe then you will understand a little more. Wait another couple of days and re-test.

If your trying to get pregnant have sex 3-4 times a week. Not 3 times a day. This is the advice I was given to by a gyno.

you are not preg. By the way you write you are either young or immature and its best if you DID NOT have a baby right now. Your period will always be wierd, never on time and changing the start date for the rest of your period life. Get used to it! I think you are a little to excieted to get preg and ar over reacting

Sometimes when you worry about pregnancy you psyche your body out and it affects your period. Stop worrying if you can and try to take your mind off of it. Wait another week and try a home preg. test.

go to the Dr have them do a test i had a pregnancy test keep coming up negative and i was 3 months when i got to the Dr
