I am 11 weeks pregnant. and i am currently 247 my fattest weight in my whole life. Am I destined to get stretch marks by the end of this p regnangcy? is there anyway to prevent them? thanks :)

Good name or not so much?

Baby's dad and I are not together. He feels that in order to have any "validity" to baby, that baby should have his last name or that it should be hypenated. He states that no one will know it is his or if he dies there is no tie to baby if baby does not have his last name.

I feel that since I will be the primary caregiver and will be living with me 2 hours from him that having my last name is more appropriate. Not to mention, he has done nothing for baby during my pregnancy except my life more stressful by picking fights and not following through on anything he says he is going to do (i.e. help pay for baby necessities).

Additionally, he feels that baby should be baptised Catholic (his religion) and I feel Lutheran (mine) as will be primary caregiver.

What do you think? What would you do? Why?
Especailly want answers from guys...as I don't understand the male sex. Thanks!

How do I get my parents to know that i want to sleep naked? Somtimes when my dad wakes me up for school he just rips off the covers 0_0 . I am 14.

I toss and turn around while i am sleeping. That causes my pants and boxers to get tangled up and twisted all over, which wakes me up.

If you are a parent, would you care if your teen slept naked?
If you are a teen who sleeps naked, do your parents know? Do they care? How did they find out?

dec 13 i had a heavy period like always . the on jan 8th i had a streak of blood when i wipped , the jan 13,14,15 th same thing on my when i used bathroom, now this evening nothing at all..i took afternoon preg test and it was neg. so my period is like 3 days late, but i feel sick and moody alot, or is it im wishing i was preg?

My wife and I are expecting our 2nd child. We're trying to come up with some boys names and we're set on having Robert as the middle name, but trying to think of some strong first names to go with it. Some we've already thought of are Ethan, Aaron, Owen, Gavin and Dylan, but my wife isn't sold on any of them. Any other ideas?

my baby is almost 6 weeks old and i am having to suplement about 3 to 4 ounces of formula each feeding. i have been working with a lactation consultant and i am on the reglan and taking mothers milk plus and drinking the raspberry leaf tea , also i am pumping but only like once or twice a day. i am only producing about and ounce and a half of breast milk , at least thats what the scales said last time when we weighed her before and after each feeding. does anyone know how much of the tea i should drink? or what else i can do to produce more milk?

My 2 and half year-old son has kept vomitting sine 8pm tonight. He vomits every time we give him some water. I want to take him to hospital, but my wife said no need. Is it recommended to go hospital in this case? He vomitted more than 5 times tonight already.

He used to love his crib, and I got him to a point where i could lay him down when he was sleepy, but still awake... and he'd go to sleep just fine. Well, the past couple of weeks, he now has to be held to sleep, and sometimes we'll take him up and lay him down, and as soon as we lay him down, he arches his back and cries. Tonight scared me though because I let him cry for 15 min. went to check on him, kissed him, told him firmly it was ni nite time, and laid him back down. Well, when I got to the bottom of the stairs, I heard a thud... he had fallen out of his crib! I don't know what to do now! (the floor is carpeted, and nothing where he would fall)... I added a bunch of pillows, rocked him to sleep, put him down, in 2 seconds he was up crying... let him cry a little more- not too long, and he fell out again. Now what should I do? I really am not a believer in the cry-it -out, but rocking him to sleep is not doing it either. I'm crying myself right now, I want him to be safe.

I think I might be pregnant. However, what are most likely the symptoms, I mean I know what they are but, I'm usually feeling nausiated I don't feel like eating much, I get somewhat dizzy, when I walk it hurts like every step I give is been going on for about 2-3 days my last period was around dec 20 or so. The day I had sexual intercourse was on jan 7 and on jan 9. Now im just I guessing what is all this hurt from and feeling funny like? I have back pain all of a sudden but it fades.



Also, I feel like I can't lay in my stomach because it feels really weird and makes me like nausiated.

I had unprotected sex with this guy December 23rd and since then I have been bleeding off and on very lightly occasionally and at first in between bleeding I would have brown discharge with no odor which has stopped now and I have been snacking a lot. I have never been on birth control and I bought a home pregnancy test January 11th and it came back negative but I am thinking it may have been to early to tell. The brown discharge has completely quit now, I do not have an STD. I am only 18. I always begin my period at the end of the month or at least by the first week of the month and didn't. Instead, it was just really light bleeding and spotting. Any suggestions?

I have a 2 year old daughter, she doesn't talk much, she only has a few words, but shes getting to know more. I have her in a speech class, we go once a week, and we are working on sign language... But my question is, I just got a letter or an invation in the mail, asking me to come to a meeting for special needs children, and children with autism.... They never said she had autism... She's really not hyper, I always thought she was more relaxed than anything, she has her days, she gets mad, but what child doesn't? She can sit down and do a 4 puzzles at once, put on her own shoes, and socks, not always on the right foot, she can run, go upstairs by herself, feed herself, so her gross and fine motor skills are great, Her speech "people" told me that, she just isn't talking as much as she should be.... What is going on here? In advance, thank you so much for your answers.

My daughter has a few pairs of blue jean shorts that she always wears. She changes them every day though-she has like 5 pairs of the same kind. She wears them all the time. I mean ALL the time, except for when she is taking a shower. She even wears them underneath jeans and skirts whenever we go out places. I discovered this two months ago and I asked her about it. She was embarrassed and she said that she didn't know why she did it but she felt naked when she didn't have them on. I made her go to school without wearing them underneath her jeans once and it drove her crazy she said she felt uncomfortable all day. I've never heard of this issue before. I've talked to friends and they have never heard of it. Has anyone ever heard of someone doing this? What caused her to start doing this? Does anybody know how I can get her to stop this habit? Why does she feel she has to wear these shorts all the time to be comfortable?

I am 17 years old and i am so devestated me and my boyfriend been together for 1year and some months!! Lately I fould out that he was cheating on me and our relationship was not going right so i meet this guy...Here;s the problem! I had unprotected sex with this guy on January 12 I got off my period on January 6!! He told me while having sex that he already had ejaculate! I ask him when and where he said he had ejaculate when his penis keep going in and out of my vagina! If thats the case that means sperm had to come in me because his penis was going in and out! Plus after when we was having sex I felt some stuff coming out of me and I dont know if it was from me or him! He swore to me that he did not ejaculate in me but i know that guys do lie! I have a irregular period I usually come on every other 3 months but lately I been coming on every month!! I went on a Fertilty Map website and it stated that I was due to ovulate between the 14-16 of January I had sex with him on the 12th!

Even if she get up at 5 am, she is still up until 11, 12 and sometimes even 1 am. She has not taken naps since she was about 18 months old. My husband and I have tried laying in her bed with her, reading stories to her and numerous other things. Any advise will be greatly apprieciated. Thanks!
