How do I get my parents to know that i want to sleep naked? Somtimes when my dad wakes me up for school he just rips off the covers 0_0 . I am 14.

I toss and turn around while i am sleeping. That causes my pants and boxers to get tangled up and twisted all over, which wakes me up.

If you are a parent, would you care if your teen slept naked?
If you are a teen who sleeps naked, do your parents know? Do they care? How did they find out?

Well i'm not a parent but I don't sleep naked because it's just not comfortable to me so i'll answer as a parent :).

I wouldn't care if my teen slept naked just as long as he/she didn't parade around the house naked, at that time during their life I would know to knock on there door and give them there privacy. But I would also ask the teen to atleast tell me before they try sleeping naked so I wouldn't find them like that; it wouldn't just be embarassing for them it would be for me too :/.

If you're having problems with your dad just barging in your room tell him you need more privacy, tell him to knock. Or you could just straight out tell him that your boxers make it uncomfortable when your sleeping so you want to try another way of sleeping and you'll need just a little more privacy.

I am a parent of a son and a daughter who are both teens. I wouldnt care if they slept naked - its only natural. Ask your parents to knock on your door to wake you up or get an alarm clock and get your self up. Just tell your parents that you need a little more privacy. My fiance slept naked since he was like 13 for the same reasons as you want too.

Just tell them you feel more comfortable sleeping naked and ask them not to come in a pull the covers off. Tell them you will keep a bathrobe next to the bed, in case of an emergency.

Tell your parents you want to be respected when you are sleeping. Chances are he is waking you up becuase you aren't getting up on your own. Tell him you want to be more responsible get an alarm clock, use it and after you do this for a week consistantly without him having to come in and get you up....he'll likely leave you alone to do your own thing and you can sleep in your birthday suit.

Your parents need to respect your privacy just as you are expected to respect their's. You have the right to sleep naked (I do, so does my daughter, she always has). Ask your parents to please knock before entering your room. I also suggest you getting an alarm clock and getting yourself out of bed...you are 14 years old that is YOUR responsiblity.

don't wear pants to bed just wear your boxers. also talk to your parents and tell them you'd like to have some privacy when you are sleeping, get an alarm clock so you can wake up on your own. show them you are responsibly and don't need them to wake you up so than you can sleep naked.

I'm a parent, now my son is only four but he does ask for privacy when he wants it. at 14 your room is your own and you need to ask your parents for some space and respect. they probably don't realize this is bothering you and you should talk to them. good luck. and no I would not have a problem with my son sleeping in his altogether. :)
