Pregnancy & Parenting - 15 January 2007

I do not have normal periods, I have had like 2 periods a year since I was 16. (I'm 20) so that's why I was asking, If I was spotting around the week of the 1st would it be 2 weeks along, or ? I took the digital pregnancy test that shows the word "pregnant" are those ever wrong? I'm going to Planned Parenthood tomorrow after work...so I was just curious..

How do I convince my nearly 19 year-old daughter that if she is pregnant (not for sure) that she shouldn't have an abortion. She has already said that is what she will do. I think it would break my heart. She is my only child and this would be my first grandchild. She is in a brand-new relationship but he seems like a good person and has already said he would stay with her. She lives with me and I have told her that I would help her out and everything. But she says that it doesn't matter because she isn't ready to have a child.
What should I say to her?

i am 12 weeks and 5 days pregnant. I have severe morning sickness. I am suffering from hell-a-lot-of vomiting and nausea. I vomit everything i eat. Even usual smells make vomit like the smell of patato and tomato. I am not able to cook myself and i have no help around. Thus, all it makes up is little or no eating. I live on biscuits and cordial but that doesnt satify my hunger. I am afraid that my poor eating habits would affect my baby's formation. I am hungry every 2 hours.

Don't worry, lol im not pregnant, sheesh im just 13. My question though is for my own knowledge with school and stuff. What happens to the mother during 6 months of pregnancy? It's not cheating so dont go "go find out yourself." It's to help me study i need to know and I've looked everywhere and i seriously can't find out. If you don't want to tell me for some reason can you at least give me a website or something for me to find it?!?

I was expecting my period today but it didn't come... it is usually every 28 days.. sometimes it is late but not often... this month i do feel a little different... i am sexually active... I am 27 years old and 18W 1D pregnant with a little girl. I have had some random bleeding and spotting through the pregnancy which has made me really nervous, but baby continues to look good.

At my 18 week detailed ultrasound today the tech found choroid plexus cysts in the baby's brain that are markers for Trisomy 18. I don't think they found any other markers. The Dr said that these cysts occur in 1-2% of pregnancies and usually the babies are ok....but I am so scared!

My Triple Scan results were great and showed lower than average risks of chromosomal problems.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

i recieved so many things at my shower for the baby and half of them i wont ever use.....some of the items however are great...my favorite right now is the hand held monitor that i can see and hear the baby on...i took a lot of stuff back and recieved gift cards i would like to know what you all have found the most useful so i dont wind up with things that will just sit in the closet....thanks for your help

i havent had my period in 4 months (but my they have always been irregular) and i havent really thought really anything about it but lately ive been craving cheese pickles and lemons/ive had terrible headaches/ i threw up a couple times/ hot flashes and at the end of december for about a week i had flu like symptoms but the doc. said it wasnt flu. lately my stomach has been fluttering and feels like something thumping in there...not gas either..could i b preg? and could that b the baby moving?

She is a good daughter (good grades, doesn't get in trouble, gets along with everyone, kind hearted, etc). She is also the type that falls head over heels and gets consumed by love. I really like the "boyfriend". His family and mine have been good friends for 3 years. So when they decided to "go steady", I wasn't too unnerved to it. He's 16 & was a virgin she's 14 (going on 18) and was a virgin. My daughter and I could talk about anything. Except lately, she is so consumed with this "going steady" & "Love" thing. I didn't want to make a big deal, about it, so I tried to be understanding to a point. I talked to her about sex. I told her all the proper things, and then I told her all the things I knew from experience. I told her she could always talk to me without repercussion. So when I found out 2 days ago, she lost her virginity, I was completely blown away. Please, someone tell me, WHAT NOW? What do I say? Do I lock her in her room and tell her she can't see him anymore? Please Help!

My daughter is almost 3 and is getting her teeth done at the hospital under a general and I am very nervous and scared for her. I cant help but feel bad because the reason she has cavities is because I took so long to take her off the bottle and have slacked off in brushing. My 8 month old daughter hasn't really been around her father since she was about 2 months. She wasn't around him much even at that time. She went with him for about 2 hours the other night, and ever since then she has been really insecure. She won't let me out of her sight unless my dad is there. Ok...this is very seious and im needing help. Me and my boyfriend had sex and we used protection but i missed my period by a few weeks, gaining weight and also having some other weird things happening to me. I need a few questions..
