Yes, I do. No one should be allowed to press their religious opinions on to others claiming that its a sin just as its not right for some religious types to say that other people shouldn't use birth control (and in some cases trying to deny birth control) because that too is a "sin" - people need to leave religion off other people's choices because not everyone believes as they do.

There are plenty of children in the world already to adopt - why add to the problem - other than some selfish couple wants a BABY instead of a child? Remember the saying, "Beggars can't be choosers." Yet these people would not want to afford another person the choice to terminate simply because they themselves want one.

Not all birth control works. Not everyone is in a financial situation to have a child. Not everyone has insurance. Not everyone has sex out of willingness. Yet these people judge ALL THE TIME when they have no right to do so! A pregnancy is a great strain on the body that can cause gestational diabetes, preeclampsia, Pregnancy Induced Hypertension - which can be life threatening to a woman if left untreated.

I had an abortion before, I have no regrets about it, and I did what I felt needed to be done at the time because it was right for me. Now I'm pregnant four years later with a very much planned pregnancy at eight weeks along - and today I found out they were twins!

I would not outlaw abortion, but I think in most cases it is terrible. There are cases where incest, drug abuse, and other horrible birth defects make an argument for keeping abortion legal. I really hate late term abortion...in particular partial birth abortion. I can't imagine anyone taking a child in the last trimester, one that could survive in a premature care facility and be completly healthy withing a few weeks, and capable of feeling pain like we do and even an awareness of the sensation of having its torso torn in half from the birth canal. You might just as well take a two hour old baby, hold it real tightly and then get a high powered suction and start sucking at the soft spot on the head...That would be murder, so dont go a day sooner and do it in the birth canal and tell me it's OK.... Makes me shudder to think anyone would allow it.... But the funny thing is, most folks in favor of keeping this legal are also opposed to the death penalty... that is 2 + 2 = 7

No, I absolutely do not believe in abortion. Why? Because everything is living. Even though that fetus does not have a heart yet, it is formed of cells, etc. Cells are living. Everything in the body is living, therefore whether how long you've been pregnant (whether it be 2 weeks or 2 months for example) you still are carrying something alive. It's not right. It should not be the woman's choice to have an abortion. They didnt ask the baby (well duh but you know what I mean). If someone really does not want their child that they've created, it's called ADOPTION. There are people out there who would love to get pregnant but cant, so give them a chance to have a child. Whatever happened to "THy shall not kill"? I'm not a religious freak whatsoever, and I actually dont believe in God, but it still is true.

I do NOT believe in abortion. If a woman says she should be able to choose if she is pregnant or not I say don't have sex. Sex is your choice. If you are raped I would say give the baby up for adoption if you don't want a reminder of that day. I have had two miscarriages and can't understand how a woman justify's making a conscience decision to KILL her child. There are so many women who would love to get pregnant and be able to have the gift of a child I don't comprehend not welcoming that gift with open arms. If you are thinking of having one I say don't. The pain I had from my miscarriages was horrible, I couldn't imagine the pain if I had been the one that made the decision to end the pregnancy.

I personally think abortion is a form of premeditated murder. You have to think and plan and then follow through with killing another human being. Should a person do that to any other 'living' human being, they would be arrested, charged and put on trial. What about those people that kill a pregnant woman who is carrying an unborn baby and that baby (or fetus as some may call it) is killed...they're often brought up on 2 counts of murder...why should abortion be any different?
I agree what everyone said about the circumstances being rape, incest or puting the mother's life at risk...those are circumstances that abortion may be considered. But abortion should not be used as birth control. If you get pg from casual sex, then adoption is a terrific option.

I am 19 and recently discoverd I am pregnant and I am getting an abortion in about a week.
I believe that there is nothing wrong with it, especially if protection was being used (remember no protection is 100%)

Many womens situations will not allow for a child. This may be due to money, Family structure or many other reasons. And to bring up a child in an environment where it could not be properly cared for would be wrong.
It is NOT a womans responsibility to provide children for other women/couples who are unable to concieve.
Also Coping with giving a child away for adoption can cause serious emotional damage to a woman. Causeing things like depression and stress.

As for unprotected sex: I am against abortion as a birth control. I believe to make this mistake more than once is entirely foolish and inexcusable. (excluding rape or other unconsented pregnancy)

Abortion is not as gruesome as some would want you to believe.
There is no pain for the feotus and it is NOT carved up into tiny pieces, Does NOT have its skull cracked or its head choped off (there is barely any defined limbs or bones and no nerves during the term where abortion is legal) nor is there any poison used. These are all myths designed to scare women away from a safe simple abortion.

I used to support the Roe vs. Wade decision, not because I believed in abortion, but I thought that over turning it would let "butcher shops" take off like a wildfire. As I've matured and thought more about it, that's about as logical as legalizing murder to cut down on the number of people in prison. It is not a "choice". Many times, when a pregnant woman is murdered, the murderer is charged with multiple murders, as it should be. You can't have it both ways; an embryo is either a human or it isn't! Aside from what anyone believes, how can an embryo be a human in one case and not in another?

I dont believe in it. i know there are bad situation like stillborn or tubal pregnancy which can be dangerous to the mother. but other then that if you have had sex and just want an abortion because its going to "ruin" your life then they are pathetic how is a baby going ruin your life just because it isnt going the way you want it go. ask your parents if there life were ruin by a pregnancy and what if they had abortion with you. someone gave you a chance so give a chance to your baby

Psalms 127:3 reads-"Look! Sons are an inheritance from Jehovah, the fruitage of the belly is a reward." Did you know that within 270 days, the original cell that was created within the mother as a result of her union with the father grows into a baby made up of trillions of cells? that original cell has within it the instructions needed to produce mare than 200 kinds of cells. Following those marvelous instructions, which are beyond human understanding, these cells of stunning complexity develop in just the right order and manner to form a new living person. Only a God of infinite wisdom could be responsible for the miraculous formation of a new living human, such a precious little bundle of life. This is a gift that the creator of life, and of the universe, has entrusted to you. As parents, do you thank Jehovah for making it possible for you to enjoy this precious inheritance? I certainly hope that you do......KECK
