No, but I can why you would. You are excited and a little sad about how independent thy are becoming. It's literally the first steps towards their own independance.
Congrats and just try and take things slowly and enjoy everything he does, it goes by sooooo fast!

That was the most wonderful moment in my life, or should I say the first time I heard his heart? I don't know but, yes, I cried in that moment and I still cry when I remember or see the photos or the video.

I cried when my son first crawled, walked, talked, and I still want to cry at times, and my boys are 18 and 22, I still find myself wanting to cry when they get upset or hurt,

i have two sons and cry when they both achieve new things i was so happy and proud of them and at the same ime sad as i realised they weren't jus walking they were that one step closer to indapendance good luck with your son enjoy him as he grows into a handsom young man.god bless

we all did in the middle of the womens underwear in target when my son walked to his daddy for the first time. first time unassisted even the clerk who was stocking a shelf near by had tears

Both of mine "cruised" for so long that it was kind of a relief when they finally walked on their own! (Do you think they might be a little spoiled?!)

I cried when both my girls started walking, one just recently. I was happy for her, and excited, but it made me realize just how big she has gotten so I was sad too. It's a big milestone for babies and even more so for parents, congrats!

no I didn't cry i was excited and cheering for him i did cry when I accidentally hurt him by clipping the pacifer holder to his skin, i cried all day and nite for hurting him by accident

yes it did bring tears to my eyes!! now he is 8 and i still look at him and get teary eyed because i can't believe how big he got and how fast the years flew bye!!!
