I had symptoms about a week after conception, a week before my missed period. I was nauseous and did not want to eat. My breasts were more swollen than usual. However, I didn't equate the two to being pregnant.
The nausea persisted until about my 5th month. I lost 15 pounds but then ended up gaining 50.

Hi,
I have three kids and, for me, I knew the moment I conceived that I was pregnant every time. That was because my cycles were very regular and both my husband and I were keeping track of when ovulation could occur.
However, my first symptom was a missed menstrual cycle as I was keeping track. Then, once I suspected, I took a home pregnancy test--and my doctor told me that they are nearly 100% accurate. The sickness doesn't begin, from what I have experienced personally and read in all of those "mommy-to-be" books until 4-6 weeks of pregnancy. They ease up between 8-10 weeks of pregnancy, but for a couple of friends of mine, they never eased up at all and ended up dehydrated and in the hospital--but that is uncommon from what I hear.
As far as to when the symptoms can show up, I didn't notice right off, as many women do. You don't "feel" anything except, perhaps, swollen breasts like you do before your menstrual cycle--except that the pain never goes away, or, perhaps, some bloating. My advice, which you can keep or dump, is to take an in-home pregnancy test--or wait until your expected cycle due date and, if missed, then take that in-home test. That will be your best indicator. Good luck!

The egg usually implants into the uterus 6 to 12 days after conception, so as soon as that happens HCG begins to produce and you can start to get symptoms. I had sore breasts with my 3rd pregnancy ( I never get sore breasts) So I knew I was pregnant. I took a test and it came out negative, but I still knew because of that. So I waited a couple of days and sure enough it was positive. So it can happen. That is the only time I have had symptoms that early though. With my other 3 children I didnt get symptoms until I was around 6 or 7 weeks.

Probably not, because you haven't built up enough HGH to register in the first few days. The fertilized egg doesn't implant until about 10-14 days AFTER fertilization, so your body has no idea it's there until it implants. A couple of weeks, and you can start feeling some changes.

I felt sick a few days before i even missed a period. I think everyone is different. I guess your body starts changing straight away so i guess it depends on how much you are in tuned with your own body. Keep in mind that pregnancy and pms start the same way.

Yes--I experienced signs in the first week, the first couple of days had cramping almost like you are about to get your period, but it doesn't happen.

symptoms can start as early as one week before your missed period, but the symptoms could feel just like your getting your period, best thing to do is wait til you're late and test.
