Absolutely. The most important are DHA and EPA.

You should take DHA supplement pills, and a large amount will be absorbed by your baby through your breast milk. DHA is very important because it is a fatty acid which the brain requires a lot of to develop, including for the process called myelination which is like insulating your electrical wiring with a protective covering so the wires do not short circuit.

There are some milk powders available for MOTHERS too that contain DHA.

Scientists believe that there is no such thing as overdose of DHA, so you don't have to worry about taking "too much". But I would advise you to just take the max number of pills as per the instructions.

Lastly, compare brands, because some contain more DHA % than others.

All of those are good but make sure to get fish at a whole foods market. And watch out for mercury. Also milk is great but watch out for RSBT Hormone. And ask your doctor about Hair vitamins

Anything with omega 3 fatty acids will help the growth of the infant's brain. Salmon, avacado, nuts, and olive oil all have these acids in them.
