Hi, I need a positive way to discipline my 16 month old boy. He is naturally for his age, very curious and doesnt understand the concept of danger. Constantly he goes into the kitchen and climbs up on the chair and climbs onto the table. I have a 4 yr old boy too so I have two to tend to. So anyway, my 16 month old is VERY Quick! and I know what he's up to when he goes into the kitchen, he also climbs on the furniture in the livingroom (tables ect.) I don't like the idea of spanking, so please don't suggest that. right now I've been doing one of two things, putting the chairs away, which isnt always feezable, and taking him off, and moving him to his toys, and telling him NO Danger! he gets very upset and has a temper tantrum, and is right back trying to do it again a few minutes later, its like he has a one track mind! So can you give me any advice, as to how to teach him not to climb furniture???? thank you.

I have identical twin grandsons that were born 3 months premature and was exposed to crack during conception. They were malnourished in the womb and then neglected when they came home. At 7 months, I got custody of them and at 3 adopted them. They have a lot of problems, which include, hyperactive, developmental delays, aggressive, bipolar tenacies, trouble with transitioning from one activity to another. They have been tested and they claim that their IQ's fall in the MMR range. They are now 8 years old and one has the mind of a 4 year old and the other they claim is 5 years and 6 months. One doesn't hardly eat and I am really getting worried about him. The other is very abusive. I need help and really don't know where to turn to now. They were getting suspended from school alot. But since their last tests, the school is starting to cooperate with me. If anyone knows of any information that may be helpful, please do so. Thanks!

I only have three months left in my pregnancy, and I only gained 15 pounds. I know you are supposed to gain 25 to 30 pounds. I was just wondering if thats ok. I know in your last month you gain about a pound per week. I just don't think I will gain all of it. Will my baby be fine?

Does anyone have any advice, beside letting run around naked and put her on the potty? Any online reference manuals or anything? Or even personel experience.

Thanks

Can someone give my any reccomendations on bakeries or any "NO MILK" recepies that I can make him one from home in time for his party on the 27th? my 3.5 year old step daughter for the last 3-4months has started crying at the drop of a hat. the problems started with her not wanting to EAT when we said she had 2eat all her dinner she'd start crying and carrying on as though she'd been smacked. She spends 50% of her time with her mum and when it's time 2pick her up my daughter has missed her and wants 2hold hands cuddle her step sister. when this happens my step daughter cries and won't let my daughter near her which then upsets my daughter who is 4years old. It doesn't seem 2matter what u say she balls her eyes out for no reason. I'm VERY WORRIED about her she hasn't always been like this and my daughter makes it worse by picking and anoying her all the time between us we have my 4year old VERY HYPERACTIVE kid and his VERY WINGEY 3year old and our screaming 5weel old i'm frustrated thinking i'm not a good mum and i've got 2be doing something WRONG!

I am half way through my pregnancy and family members and sometimes even close friends of the family. Try to give advice on things they don't have a place give advice in. Things that boyfriend and I have to make a decision about. Things like how I should raise my daughter. I grew up in a city but i spent more of my time in the suburbs(where people in my family have come to say i act white). So i rather raise my daughter in a mixed neighborhood then just raise her in the city. Then people comment on how i discipline my daughter...such as whooping her when she dors something bad. I have never been whooped. My daughter isn't here yet and people already trying to give their two cents. I am more so saying what can i do to stop people from doing this toward me and has this ever happen to you?

As my name states I am new at the Horse world..I went in a little over my head because of the love of horses i have always had. I have a 5 yr old mare, a 11yr old gelding and a almost 3 yr old gelding whom has not been under saddle yet, but is a sweetheart..i just recently purchased a 8 month old colt. I watched him being born and he was handled since birth up to my purchase of him. The first week or two he was a joy the kids could do anything with him (they are bothe 10 yrs) and now all the sudden he has become very dominent..kicks out...bucks..rears up..chasing them and me..i am wondering has he learned bad habits from other horses or maybe kids..or feed. I am feeding him 2 scoops a day of Stradegy and supplementing with TnA he is not in with other horses but share fence line right now...sometimes he will not even let us get out of truck for fear of being trampled. He has not been gelded yet as his gentils have not dropped. How do i handle this little brat without getting kicked.

Okay, my period is four days late. I'm feeling nauseaus and peeing all the time, also feeling tired and a little lightheaded. I've had two babies before, and what I seem to be having are classic symptoms of pregnancy for me--both of my other pregnancies started this way! However, I've taken TWO home pregnancy tests (one today, one two days ago) and BOTH of them were negative. Hmmmm....So what's the deal? Has anyone else ever had this happen to them? My cycle is usually very regular and dependable. I should also mention that I have a one-year-old that I weaned three months ago, so I've only had two "monthly visitors" since having my baby, but they were both right on time. Also, we were not using any form of birth control last month, so I just assumed I was pregnant, and was surprised to find the tests come back negative. Anyway, I have a doctor's apt in 10 days, but I will of course wonder what's going on until then, so I thought I'd ask you guys.

I am not talking about the morning after pill. I am talking about the pill where you can take it within like 7 or 8 weeks. Do you just take 1 pill and thats it, or do you take it over a certain amount of days?

Thanks

I don't call my sons papa. Is it me, or is it a little weird?
