I'd get rid of the P.S. part. First off, you can get cards at a dollar store just as cheap (if not cheaper) than books, so that part just doesn't make sense. Oh, and the idea of mentioning that you're interested in helping with the wallet seems contradictory seeing as how you're basically throwing a party to get gifts - I mean, if you're THAT concerned about saving them money, you'd be requesting "no presents". Don't mention money at all on any invitation. I also wouldn't ask guests to get rid of cards altogether...you can have an assistant write down what each guest bought you in the card and that'll make it easier for you to write thank you cards. It may get confusing to track all that on a separate piece of paper since names can get screwed up and spelled wrong. Another issue would be the inscriptions. If you get 5 copies of Goodnight, Moon with inscriptions, you're not going to be able to return the other 4. I think the thought behind this is nice, but to come out and say it is a bit off-putting for me. Instead, why not have instead of a wishing well, a book well. When guests call to rsvp, have the point-person just mention that there will be a book well (or some other name) instead of a wishing well. I think it'd be received a bit better if word was spread verbally.

I like the following:
Babies are Angels that fly to the earth,
their wings disappear at the time of their birth
one look in their eyes and we're never the same
They're part of us now and that part has a name
That part is your heart and a bond that won't sever
our Babies are Angels, we love them forever.
and..
Precious one,
So small,
So sweet
Dancing in
on angel feet
Straight from Heaven's
brightest star
What a miracle
you are!

My all time favorite little quote comes from the listed book:
Love You Forever by Robert N. Munsch and Sheila McGraw
the quote is:
"I love you forever. I like you for always. As long as I'm living, my baby you'll be."

a poem can be made up of words that don't have to rhyme, how did your baby make you feel when you first held ur baby what did your baby make you feel when you first saw the baby. what ever your heart tells you when you see your baby that is your poem.

My baby, my baby,
how sweetly you cry,
