Be sure you take breaks during the day and ELEVATE your legs. It sounds as though you have some legs swellling, from fluid retention and from the pressure of the abdomen on the tops of your legs, which affects the circulation.
Ask your doctor if he/she can prescribe some maternity compression hose, or pick up some maternity support hose; that may help with the leg aching you're experiencing.
Be sure and drink plenty of fluids, more than usual. Take walks during the day, to keep the circulation going and to distract yourself. Sleep up on a few pillows. As your doctor if you can take some tylenol a couple times a day.
Good luck. The end is near!!

You are having normal pregnancy problems..don't worry....you don't have much longer to go. I am 40 wks, and I have been dealing with all that for like a month or so, now. Try propping your legs up when you sleep....put several pillows under your knees if you sleep on your back, or between your legs if you sleep on your sides. Try stretching several times a day. You may be doing too much during the day, and putting too much strain on your legs. On my really bad nights, I take Benadryl to help me sleep. This is perfectly fine, and does no damage to your baby. My doc is the one that told me to take it. I would for sure be taking warm baths, with lavender/chamomile oil or bubble bath to help you relax at night before laying down. I know what you are feeling...Luckly, I am having a C-section tomorrow, and mine will be done with. Yours will be soon, too. Good Luck, and Congrats

Make sure you rest a lot through the day and put your legs up to relieve some of the pressure. That worked well for me instead of remaining active all the time as I was really sick and not sleeping well either. I ended up starting to have little naps throughout the day and it was much better.
Almost done - goodluck!

Yes keep on working. It will make your labor and delivery easier. Well i'm sorry to tell you but that is just how pregnancy is. Especially at the end. I had pains so bad that i could not even walk. I would be walking down the street and then i would end up in squats. My last baby was almost 8lbs. Good luck.

that's just the way it goes.
The last few weeks of pregnancy are HARD!
You can do it though, just stay tough, it's almost over.
And if you're having trouble sleeping, try napping a little during the day, or really just any time you get tired lie down and try to sleep.
Even 5 minutes is better than none at all!
