I just turned 23 years old and have a 2 year old daughter and I am 24 weeks pregnant. I am currently in school full time (i graduate in May with a Psych/Soc degree) and I work part time. Growing up I had always wanted kids but I'm not the mom i always thought i would be and even though i know this I don't change it or no how. (I don't hit my child or anything like that) i just wish i did things with her or was more patience. I know I have a busy schedule but when I'm homw I don't know how to find the enegry or desire to interact and do the tings i had always planned on doing. I feel so guilty and hate myself half the time.

My sis has been pregnant twice and with both her stomach sticks out like a bullet or a bomb you see in cartoons instead of the normal rounded shape that I see all women with. I have never seen anyone else pregnant with a belly shaped like that. I'm pregnant myself and my belly is shaped normal. My sisters stick straight out and it resembles a huge bullet. Does anyone know how that could happen?

My little sister is 16 and she had sex for the first time on New Years eve...no protection, no birth control. Which it so stupid on her part and his part. She is the type of girl who is all around a great girl and is a cheerleader and is involved in everything.But besides the point my mom knows and took her to get the morning after pill. My dad is going to flip. Should she tell my dad?

she says that one day she got a sharp pain in her breasts, but that only happened once, then she called me from school saying that she was feeling sick but after an hour she felt ok, then she tells me that ever since she got the thought into her head that she was pregnant she started having all these mood swings, and shes really worried that she is pregnant..she is only 18 and this is not what we wanted....no we didnt use protection but i really need to knwo what to do right now..is it to early to take a test?...how would i take her to the doctor and ask for something?...what should we do...plz help us...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...were really freaking out....i keep on telling my girl that the more the stresses out about it the longer her period will take until it starts again...is that even true??

MY husband has been pretty sick and now Im starting to get it too.IM 25 weeks pregnant. Ive got a bad cough and sore throat. Im not able to go to the doctor yet due to missing work. He was prescribed this cough syrup. I have seen different things on the net about it. ANybody know anything about this being safe when pregnant?

I am a dad of seven meaning I always have to make sure that my punishments are consistent so as not to show favortism to one child in particular. However over the years I have learnt that different techniques work with different kids. Some of my kids respond best to spankings and others to their priveledges being taken away. BUT is a one minute spanking any comparison to a three week ban on the t.v or phone. A friend of mine found herself in a similar position, she spanks her six year old daughter but not her ten year old son and found that he was getting more of a punishment than his younger sister for similar misbehaviour. She now makes more out of the spanking so that her son knows that it too is a bad punishment. When her 6yr old is bad she sends her to her room for ten minutes and tells her to wait for her spanking, she then outs her daughter over her knee oulls her panties down and spanks her 18 times(3 times her age). After that she allows her daughter to pull up her panties but

my first birth was the birth from hell, i had 36 hours in labour and an emergency cesearean at the end. i had back labour as the baby was in the wrong position, i remember saying i wanted to die the pain was so bad! i desperatly want another child, but dont know if i can go through all that again. id try a natural labour again because i found the cesearean experience and recovery awful. but i had my baby at the end i know. im just terrified of birth as it really put me off!!has this happend to anyone??any words of encouragement xx is it worst the 2nd time round?x

Hi, i has a miscarraige 6 weeks ago, i had a period 13/12/06 i would have been ovulating on 27/12/06...for the last two days i am having all the symptoms i had when i was pregnant before i miscarried E.G Tiredness Aching stomach/Back Feeling nausea...My Period is not due until next Wednesday...What are the chances of me being pregnant and having symptoms already? do you think i should wait to take a test till my period?

I can hear the laughter now........but seriously!! My oldest son is such a pig, and my next oldest is so clean. I always have made them pick up their messes and put things away, but the last couple of years have been horrible. My son has taken up hitting me right about the time he turned three. His older sister never hit him or us, nor is there abuse between hubby and I.

I've tried scholding, spanking, time out, take away toys etc and he just wont stop. Even when he's getting a talking to, he will hit.

Please any advice would be great

below around my pubic bone and almost feels like inside muscles too. Nothing is swollen, no contractions, no cramps, no bleeding, just sore if I move or lift one leg. Just getting out of bed is hard at times!!

Also, I am due for my glucose test tomorrow and want to know what it's like and how long the results take.

I put my son into reading intervention and make him read for 15 to 20 minutes every night. But, that is not working. He is not ADD or ADHD. He his good in math but when it comes down to asking him questions about what he read....his answers are all wrong.

I have been having a bad problem with my menstrual periods, I have always been irregular but only like two or three months apart..I got married march 16th 2006 and since then i have now had one period and it is january, i have been to the doctor. had everything checked out and things were perfect..I have tried acupuncture but only a couple of times due to my money situation. I have also tried female toner( strengthens and tones the uterus, and supposrts healthy menstration) and had a very extremely light period( i think) where i did not have to use anything. So then i tried vitex(chasteberry), ovulex, chinese herbs from my acupuncturist ect and nothing has worked still no period. this is driving me nuts. my husband and i are thinking about trying to have a baby but thats kind of impossible if im not menstrating...or is it? we have had very frequent unprotected sex. The date i could have had my period was october7th-14th? please let me know asap. u can email me to. thanks

I started prepregnancy at 130lbs then in my first trimester I lost wieght and went to 120lbs now at 29 weeks I weigh 147lbs. I know I HAVE to gain wieght for me and the baby but I just want to slow down the wieght gain while still eating healthy any sugestions? Also which is my prepregnancy weight, 120lbs 0r 130lbs?
