My sis has been pregnant twice and with both her stomach sticks out like a bullet or a bomb you see in cartoons instead of the normal rounded shape that I see all women with. I have never seen anyone else pregnant with a belly shaped like that. I'm pregnant myself and my belly is shaped normal. My sisters stick straight out and it resembles a huge bullet. Does anyone know how that could happen?

It may be her body. Shorter people, or people with less agdominal room have less space for the baby to sit in so it protrudes forward more. I rehabbed a woman once who had a split uterus (there was tissue in the middle that made it like having two uterus's). When she was pregnant the baby would only sit in one side so the baby would poke out the most just on that one side. There are a lot of reasons I guess.

Just the way she carries (see the section in "What to Expect When You're Expecting") There's nothing abnormal about it any more than you're carrying "normal", society just get used to seeing what the average pregnant person's belly is shaped like (which comes from magazines and things which feature big round bellies usually). Also the shape and contour of your belly changes depending on how the baby is laying, especially when there's a foot or butt towards the front!

the reason the belly is abnormally shaped is because the baby is kicking and pushing sometime the baby will kind of gather in one spot it could be in the middle at the bottom the sides or the top and that is what is causing the belly to be shaped funny.

She's carrying just as normally as you are. She just carries her children differently than you do. Everyone carries differently - I'm 28 weeks pregnant and I look like I swallowed a basketball, and my cousin's girlfriend who is 28 weeks pregnant is carrying it through her hips.

it is the way that she carries, completely normal (i bet she has a small build) smaller women tend to have pointer stomach
