Pregnancy & Parenting - 4 January 2007

I'm going to have hysterectomy due to endometriosis but I will be able to keep my ovaries so that I could keep my options to get pregnant. The option is getting someone else to carry my eggs but I don't know how that works really well yet. Do you girls know of any website where I can research about this?

who here thinks a "necessities" shower is a good thing?

Just curious.
My son is almost ready to crawl as he gets up on his hand and knees and rocks and lunges for things.

He put everything in his mouth

He can put stuff into one hand and then switch

He can almost sit up from the lying position

When he does sit up, he is fairly steady, but likes to lean forward. He can sit in the upright position by himself, by not very well

He can hold a bottle by himself (usually half full), but still prefers mom or dad to hold it for him

I was wondering when u get off the birth control shot is it easier to get pregnant and about how long.because i just got off of it like on dec 12 and had unprotected sex that night and been having headaches and feelin sick, but when i was on the shot i was sick thats why i stop. and i know most docters use ur last period to know how fair u are how do they do that if ur were on birth control

I'm currently 30 weeks pregnant, and my husband just got back from Iraq. I just found out today that my husband has to leave again on Jan 30th for some leadership training at another post. The training is for 30 days, so he will be back sometime around the 1st part of March. My due date is March 20th. Our nearest family is 13 hours away. We have friends but no one that we are actually "that" close to for this type of situation....does anyone have any advice or ideas on what we can do?
