questions about birth control shot?

I was wondering when u get off the birth control shot is it easier to get pregnant and about how long.because i just got off of it like on dec 12 and had unprotected sex that night and been having headaches and feelin sick, but when i was on the shot i was sick thats why i stop. and i know most docters use ur last period to know how fair u are how do they do that if ur were on birth control

It is different for each woman. Some can get prego right away, while most it can take around 18 months to get back to a regular cycle.

For your second question, about telling how far along you are if you are prego....If that night was the only night you had sex, you can just count forward 40 weeks to get your due date. If not, the doc can guess fairly accurately by the measurements of the baby on the ultrasound.

it's suggest to wait atleast 6 months after birth control pills, I have never taken the shot though, so for that I do not know.

I'm assuming it's the same as the pill though.


Start to take folic acid pills and eating healthy, etc as if you were pregnant so it's not such a shock to your body and that will help maintain a healthy pregnancy and keep you at a healthier weight than if you didn't prepare yourself.

that shot is the devil!!! lol good thing you got off of it did yo know that its a steroid??? and as for you having headaches well it could be your body adjusting to it not having hormones and what not injected to it anymore but all in all go see your doctor and get a check up for extra cation
