130 would be your prepregnancy weight. Also, I only gained 6 (yes six) lbs during my first pregnancy and I had a 8 lb and 14 oz baby girl and she was healthy and happy! I am currently 21 weeks and measuring right on now and I have lost 7 lbs and not gained a pound. You can have a healthy and happy pregnancy without packing on the pounds (UNLESS YOU START OUT UNDERWEIGHT) which I don't think you did unless you're taller than like 5'7" or so. The biggest key is to eat healthy (cut out ALL extra fats, all soda and sports drinks) and nibble ALL day long. I pretty much eat constantly...but everything is healthy, balanced and hitting the vitamins and things I need. Low fat dairy, lean poultry, lower carb items (but not the low carb diet plan or anything), and WATER lots and lots of water. A lot of veggies, fruits and low fat cheeses, salads with fat free dressings are all good choices. You only need about 1800 calories a day to maintain a healthy pregnancy for you and baby. Also, exercise (keeping heart rate below 140 bpm) is very important. You should make up the calories you burn, but it keeps your metabolism from slowing, keeps heart strong and makes the babies heart and arteries stronger. Do those things and you will have a healthy pregnancy (barring other complications) and gain less weight, and the weight you do gain will be easier to lose. Good Luck!!

Your pregnancy weight is 130 lbs. If you are at 29 weeks and only have gained 17 lbs you are doing great. You should gain between 25 and 35 lbs over the course of your pregnancy. I personally gained 49 lbs, I was REALLY hungry and never suffered from morning sickness so I gained from the start. I am happy to say that I have lost all the weight, except for 3 lbs that are hanging on. Don't obsess over it, you are pregnant and you will gain weight. Eating healthy is not that hard, just don't eat junk food. Avoid chips, candy, fast food, and eat lots of fruit and veggies. Believe me, you doctor will let you know if there is a problem.

Same happened to me. I was 130 when I got pregnant, and then dropped down to 121. I was about 153 when I delivered. So therefore I considered my pre pregnancy weight to be 130. My doctor told me to eat healthy, and take it easy. To gain 20 lbs is plenty and the more you gain the harder it is to lose. Especially if you don't breastfeed, which I do hope you plan to nurse, for you and your baby. Just eat right, lots of greens, and drink plenty of 100% juice and water and you'll be fine. Towards the end its normal to have a steady weight gain of about a pound a week, then at the very very end you might stop gaining all together, I did. Good luck..I wouldn't stress about the weight, just eat healthy and enjoy your pregnancy.

This is how my doctor tells me, I have gained 18 pounds total from my high point (prepregnancy) but with weight lost 14 pounds.
You have gained 27 pounds which is still normal (25-40 pounds is consindered the normal) don't worry so much as long as your doctor doesn't say you are gaining too much. Plus remember your body just made up for weight lost.

Your pre-pregnancy weight was 130 so far you have only gained 17 pounds which is good. These last few months you should only gain about 6-7 more pounds which is good you should only gain about 25-30 pounds during pregnancy. Don't stress out about the weight your doing great.

No, you have only really gained 17 pounds. Most of my friends gained the most in the second trimester so you should be fine. I did not gain anything in my first trimester, them all the sudden in weeks 12-19, I have gained 14 pounds...now that is bad..lol

First trimester weight income isnt frequently lots. 3-5 pds supply or take. After the 1st trimester is whilst maximum women human beings will income a pound each and every week. while you're underweight your dr would advise you income extra, obese much less, in line with risk a million/2 pd or much less each and every week. some women all people is ill in the process the 1st trimester and actual drop extra pounds. the main weight is gained in months 4-9 so in case you income a sprint or none in any respect in first trimester it is all widespread.

try not to focus on your weight so much...the health of the baby is much more important....eat when you're hungry and make sure to take prenatal vitamins...average weight gain is 35lbs to 40lbs...if you have any other concerns, you should talk to your doctor....good luck!
