Adults do that too. It is just like a white sound that calms and increases the thought process.

that is so cute. i like the ta ta ta. when my son was a baby i used to love waking up to him standing in his crib with his one peice pajama singing ta ta, ba ba or mama or papa. thanks for reminding me of this.
