I am 11 weeks and just curious when I can find out my baby's gender.

Does anyone know why my doctor would rather I use Prescription Diflucan instead of an over-the-counter cream to treat a yeast infection? Are the 3 to 7 day creams not safe while pregnant?

Also...has anyone else ever used Diflucan? Any bad reactions?

im just worried a freind of mine is pregnant and is not considering abortion or adoption.thing is she doesnt have a family in the country and no one to help look after her child when its born. she still has a year left to finish uni.but looking at things she wont be able to afford child care etc.waht she wants is a temp place to live her child till she finishes her education but would want to to get the child later is putting the child into care an option adoption is out of the question coz she wont have access to the child afterwards what are the other options you know off she really is stranded any advice.wat help is available here in the uk anyone knows

He is 3 months old, verry happy baby.
Every night he eats at 10 p.m and falls asleep. In about half an hour he just starts screaming and crying all of a sudden. Nothing hurts, because when I take him in my arms, he just falls asleep again. Sometimes just the pacifier is enough to calm him. Than he does the same thing one more time after another half an hour and than he sleeps trough the whole night. He does this for two weeks already.
What is this?
Is he having nightmares?
Have you ever experience this with your baby?

someone broke into my house and took all my kids christmas presents. all of it. there is not a sigh of anything. my boyfriend called and filed a police report but even the cop said that nothing will come of it.
i really dont know what to do. i dont have $ to buy them anything new

My little girl takes about 25 oz of formula a day plus about 3 tablespoons of rice cereal...she's just barely 4 months old. Is this about right??

Our little guy who will be 3 in January is having some real issues with the potty training. We've been getting him to sit on the potty as often as possible but it is a struggle to get him there. He was really interested at first but soon lost interest and has gotten lazy I think. He knows when he has to go but just can't hold it long enough to get to the bathroom. He will however go if you put him in the bathtub he will make a point to stand up and tell you he is about to go...gets into position...and goes.

So what are we doing wrong to get him to do "normally". He is so proud of himself when he does go in the potty but it's he can't be bothered most of the time. We've tried the little reward system with the stickers & such but it was only fun for the first time or two. Any ideas to help us along? (and yes we've even had potty parties when he does go)

i was gettin a check ^ by my dr n he said i have a tilted uterus. my mom has the same thing, and she has 3 kidz im tha oldest then there iz 8 yearz between me n the 2nd child. so im jus wondering if it is a lil more harder 4 tha sperm 2 reach tha egg. n if it is harder wut can i do 2 help the sperm reach tha egg better if there is a way!!! thax!!!

I am a mother of a daughter that is 16 months and a soon to be mother again of a son and I thought of this creative idea, but I want to see if it would be a good idea or not. I am actually trying to start a home-based business and I thought about all the mothers that are about to go into labor and they still dont have a name for their baby, and then i thought to myself, "What about making a business for helping parents name their kids?" And so I came up with a concept of a Baby Naming Consultant. So, what do you all think? Would you pay someone to help you name your kid or kids? It seems a little lame to me, but there are alot of moms who doesn't know what they would name their kids. So, let me know what you think.

As the holiday season has rolled around I realized something, I do not know my mother at all. I have no idea what her intrest are (besides the fact she likes crossword puzzles and does aerobics) or her dislikes. Sure, I know plenty of things she DOESN'T like but that is not very helpful. Yes, I know she is my mom, not my best friend but I think it is a little sad that I know hardly anything about her personality. I do not feel that I can honestly say I know my mother. This is not to say I haven't tried, in my own feeble half hearted way, I have before asked her about her views on things and we often played family games or games with just the two of us. We have laughed a little together but I still feel distant from her like I don;t know my own mother. That is not to say that she is cold, far from it, she is very nice its just like we have no connection some intrest that can bring us closer as mother and daughter. How can I get to know my mother better? I will not mistake my roll as

Growing up, every year at Christmas, we would all get a special present...one that we got every year... for instance, since I was born, my parents have always given me a porcelain doll..this will be my daughters first Christmas and we want to start the same tradition for her..the problem is we dont have any ideas other than a Christmas Barbie..which would be nice, but i want to do something that is a little...different..not as predictable...any ideas?
