Please, please, don't get her anything baby related for her birthday. When it's time for the baby shower, get her something for the baby...meanwhile, it's her birthday, so celebrate her!

I might suggest a massage...Many day spa's offer pregnancy massages, which (a) allow her to relax in a way that doesn't interfere with her belly, and (b) will help to relax the muscles that get really sore when a woman is pregnant.

Alternately, there's always the things that the rest of us want, even when we're not pregnant...Diamonds or pearls are always nice! :)

A gift that will make her feel special and womanly about herself since lets face it carrying around another person in your stomach for 9 months is beautiful but makes you feel like your not just one person anymore.

Gift ideas would be bath and body works lotions and creams, maybe a cute lingerie that she could were such as a see through one to let her know you still find her very attractive.
Another good idea is jewelry! That is always a win win!! Good Luck!

If this is a Christmas gift, do NOT get her anything for the baby, that's what baby showers are for. Get her a gift certificate for a pedicure or massage, something to pamper her and make her feel better. The last 2 months of pregnancy are torture for alot of women, so something that would pamper her would probably be much appreciated.

If it is for a shower, follow what she has on her registry.

I just found out I was pregnant right before Christmas last year and I got maternity clothes. Not real nice to give a person "fat clothes" for Christmas, but I did enjoy opening little presents for the baby.

I just spotted a maternity shop at the mall that had the COOLEST holiday tops and dresses. Black sequin stuff, soft, silky materials--Right now she probably isn't feeling very sexy--But something like that would make her feel gorgeous and it would be something that she could wear to a New Year's Eve party while drinking sparkling grapejuice! Those clothes almost made me wish I was pregnant again. Well, almost!

Don't get her stuff for the baby. After all it's HER birthday, not the Baby's. You'll have plenty of time to spend money on him/her later.

Here some ideas
1. non-alcoholic champagne.
2. A spa certificate
3. a foot rub
4. CDs or DVDs
5. Pickles and Ice cream (sorry, I couldn't resist)

do not get her maternity clothes no matter what don't thats the worst thing. if he is getting her something for the baby maybe a nice changing table or bassinet or baby swing. maybe a name bracelet with the childs name on it. if he wants to get the pregnant women something just for her then flowers would be nice or something along those lines.

Peace and Quiet with a little Tranquility before the babe arrives...other than that, lots of comfy clothes while in the house and a promise to give her her favorite bluejeans (or whatever) when she is back in fighting form weight wise...

A diaper cake! You take 3 different size diapers and make "layers" like a wedding cake, then decorate with ribbon and baby items lik binkies, booties, etc. Use pink colors for girls, blue for boys, or yellow if you don't know. You can get ideas at bunnyburybaby.com or lilbabycakes.com
