Ah the joys of being pregnant. I have a lot of gas to it's terrible in a way but relieving to. Make sure you eat foods that aren't greasy and that will make your gas worse. Good luck to you and it most likely will not last that long. Hopefully no longer than 9 months.

As your hormone levels change, you become more susceptible to the horrors of pregnancy from hemorrhoids and heartburn to gas that can clear a room. Of all of them, gas is unfortunately the one there is very little treatment for.
Progesterone relaxes smooth muscles such as your digestive tract, so as your metabolism is increased, your digestion is slowed. The best I can recommend is to try and avoid massive gas producers such as beans and broccoli. Also, ask your OB as s/he may have some recommendations to help.
Good luck, and much sympathy from this mom!

This is quite normal. Sometimes our bodies don't adjust fast enough to the changes of pregnancy. Don't freat.. It will get a bit better as the months go ... Best wishes...

It will only lasts 9.5 months (40 weeks).
I am in the same boat and am in my 22nd week. I haven't had nausea, though, that went away by my 12th week. I just have the gas.

Completely normal. Aggrivating, but normal. Sometimes it can last for just a little while, sometimes it can last through the whole pregnancy.
