If she can't find any way to take care of the child, she will HAVE to consider adoption or abortion. Sorry.

First have her check the university - sometimes if there is an education school they will have daycare for the children of students.

The child may be able to be placed in foster care on a temporary basis - check with child welfare.

Another idea would be to find a generous and willing roommate who could schedule classes at opposite times and help care for the baby in exchange for a free room.

Not too sure on this one,but she could speak to someone from social services, telling them what she wants to do, and see what they say. The other alternative is to speak with her midwife, or doctor. They should be able to find a foster family for her! If I were in a better financial position, I would offer my help personally!! Good luck to her, as she seems to have her priorities in hand! She should definately speak to social though, as they may have some financial advice for her, plus they know all the correct procedures.

Well there are things available for people who have children that are still in school. If she wants to look after and have her child then so be it.

In the US we have agencies that will care for a child and her mother. I would imagine there is something similar in the UK. Contact social services.

Why can't anyone write anything anymore? It's like looking at a slab of lard, un-punctuated.
