I've been going out w/my boyfriend for awhile now.He and I love each other very much but the thing that bothers me the most is that I cannot have children w/him. He has daughters of his own 5yrs and 8yrs old.Their mother brain washes them saying that I'm a bad person. She doesnt even know me! My boyfriend just gets upset fr all the lies and selfish ways of her. Don't get me wrong, I like my boyfriend's daughters very much. The way my life is right now not having kids of my own is rough on me. I would adopt but I'd rather have one w/the one I love. The ex doesnt want the kids around their dad because of me. I know thats not right. I'm not trying to be a mother to them at all. I feel that since the ex is being so cruel,to me I feel like I dont want to even be around when my boyfriend has the girls w/him. I feel that I'm in the way& I dont want 2b around or pursue our relationship. Its like its me or the kids. Do any of u feel like me? What should I do? I'm CoNfUseD!

I am really good at taking them but on the rare occasion I have forgotten. If I take it during my meal or right after I get a lil nauseous and really can't handle it. What do you do to remind yourself to take it? I even have an alarm on my cell that goes off everyday during my lunch hour but that's when I can't really take it! HELP!

I am at 27 weeks, 3 days pregnant with my first child and I am having a boy. Well my next appt is at 29 weeks since 28 weeks would be Christmas and my OB is out of town that week, I am actually out of town myself. So my 29 week appt is on Jan 2nd and it will be the checking for Diabetes. I have been told to eat/drink no sugar on that morning and it is also best to avoid it the night before just so I am safe!

Well what happens after the 29 weeks, since I have the appt every 2 weeks from then on? When do the internal exams that the OB does start? Does the Dr have to conduct an exam for every woman, and do the exams hurt? I am not a big fan of pap smears or the cervical cultures, so in this case what are we tested for and does it hurt?

Thanks!

I came across it in the Bible. I'm not exactly sure of the pronounciation but I think it looks pretty. I believe it can be pronounced:

Ja el-- w/ the long a sound
or
Ji el- w/ the long i
or
Ja yelle

Not having a baby-- I just think it looks interesting:)

My 10 month old has only ever drank breastmilk.(other than his baby food obviously).. but now he seems to not be as interested in breastfeeding during the day.. he mainly wants to nurse in the evening and at night. Sometimes he will nurse for very short periods during the day, but not very well.. and I want to start supplementing with a cup for the times that he does not nurse well. I am doing this because I am not sure he is recieving enough milk when he doesnt nurse.... I know he gets plenty when he nurses.. but with his older brother and sisters he more wants to play with them, but he has also been very interested in his 2 year old brothers sippy cup... Thanks for any and all input!

I know that every woman is different, but I am really starting to panic because I am only 16 weeks pregnant and I have noticed that my skin is sooo itchy lately (the outsides of my breasts, stomach, and especially my back). After reading I have learned not to scratch because it could cause stretch marks. I have not noticed any red bumps, lines, or any skin abnormalities in the "itchy" areas, but I know that they just probably haven't shown up yet. Gold Bond seems to help cool and relieve the itching, better than the Cocoa Butter. Has anyone else tried this method and did it possibly help in preventing the stretch marks...or does the Palmers Butter seem to work the best>

Right now all he does is lashes out (hits, kicks, bits) at the kids in his preschool room and the director of the facility when he is put in the office for "time out". He will, for no reason at all, walk up and hit other kids. Yesterday there was a little girl playing with the play microwave, my son was not playing with her, he walked up to her and intentionally slammed her fingers in the door of the play microwave. Is it too much of a school environment or is does it seem too borring for him? I cant figure him out.

I mentioned couple of days ago that I'm taking care of my little nephew and I'm wondering if he might have ADD I don't want to put him on meds. And I'm trying to keep him from sugar. I notice when he eats anything that has sugar(fruit included). He goes crazy and he misbehaves. Now I know 3yr. olds have alot of energy, but not like this. I'm goal is to get him to eat well and stay away from any kind of meds. I do like herbs.

daughter is almost 6 months, I stopped breastfeeding about 3 weeks ago. I feel kinda guilty about it. I was so stressed out a few weeks back that I had two cigarettes. Everybody around me said that it shouldn't hurt her, but I noticed the color of my milk changed and she actually started coughing once I fed her :'( so I quit.

I feel really bad about how I ended it, but it seemed like she wasn't getting enough at feedings, she was cranky, I was cranky. Things have calmed down around here, I've even started her on rice cereal, but I really want to go back to breasfeeding her These last few months. (Formula prices are out of control!)

Anyone have any sources for my situation?

My situation doesn't sound so bad. My husband & I both have college degrees. I have a decent paying job with health insurance. My husband is a full-time PHd student and makes a monthly stipend. However, we live in a metropolitan area where the cost of living is EXTREMELY high. We literally scrape by every month. We bounce checks every month, pick and choose bills to pay based on how much the late fee is, we have a mortgage that is over 50% of my yearly salary - even though our home is a very small 600 sq foot condo. We can barely survive now...how can we afford a child!? Also, where we live we "make too much" to qualify for any help but we just don't make enough to get by. Money stress is causing severe depression and it is making it very difficult for me to even be excited about the baby. I'm also resentful of my husband for being in school rather than working. I had to go off Paxil when I became pregnant, any advice to soothe depression without meds? Does anyone else have $ worries?

i dont know if the baby has dropped or not, and i have not lost my mucus plug. i know that sex is said to help ripen and dialate the cervix, but how much sex? its a silly question, but ive had
'false labor' atleast 6 times now in the past week and a half and my doctor wont think of inducing me until after 42 weeks so i am trying to help things along but sex seems to help start something it just never sticks!

My friend is married, does not work and is pregnant with her first child. Her husband works for his father's business and does not receive medical insurance. Can she get state assisted medical insurance even if her husband makes $50,000 a year?

I thought assisted medical insurance was for low income women and those in need. My friend is too lazy to work and she said she plans to lie if they can't get the medical with their income!

P.S. Its not me, I have crappy Blue Cross from my employer. lol

He's getting his license in a month..doing all the right things in terms of lessons and classes....what 'rules" did you give your son....or what rules did you as a new driver accept...that made you more responsible? It's such a scary thing for a parent. I know we need to follow state rules of course.

My husband and I are very stressed right now, he lost his job and we have fallen WAY behind on our big bills. (he has recently been hired on at a new company-4 months ago). we are trying to avoid foreclosure and borrowing $$ from family so we dont loose our car, which they are trying to take.

I am so stressed out, my stomach has a continuous ache in it for the past 2 days. What can the doc do for me and what side effects does stress have on the baby.

PS. i am 19 weeks pregnant, so im already passed my 1st
trimester. My next doctors appointment is Jan 8th, should I wait until then, is there even anything my doc can do? It costs $$ if i make an unscheduled appointment, but i will if i need to.?

Thanks for your help.

I heard it's bad to have a natural birth after a C-Section. I have had 2 C-Sections and I think im pregnant again. Will it be dangerous if I get another C-Section because I heard that they dont want you to have more then 3 C-Sections.

Before you get started let me let you know that i'm not a s.l.u.t., I just love to kiss! There is this guy who I have been foolin around with for about a year(kissing, touching, flirting, etc). But I also did the same thing with one of his friends. But that's not the bad part. I kinda like his little brother,(and when I say little I don't me a 12 year old). The big brother is 18 and the little brother is 16. The big problem is that I have to go over their house tomorrow to do the little brother's hair and the big brother and the friend will also be there. What should I do to avoid a mad crisis!?
