My husband and I have been ttc for about 2years now after coming off depo. I have had normal periods but this month on the first day it was light,second day ok but not heavy third day light then it went off it only lasted 3 days typically one day was enough for a period and i have been feeling a little nausea throughout the day i really think i am pregnant can someone help???

What is a good expectorant for infants? My daughter is almost a year old and has a really bad cough and the cold. I have her on Tylenol cold and cough and it really isn't cutting it ... any suggestions?

I have grown very attached to his daughter & really embraced my role in her life. She is shared between her mother & father & has a well balanced family life. My partner appreciates the effort i go to with his daughter which includes taking her to the park, playing, drawing, writing letters to santa, piggy back rides...you name it, i do it. His daughter has really taken to me & this is obvious to myself, my partner & his family.
The issue i have is i have a much more stern but fair approach to how she should be raised compared to her father. He is very relaxed & spoils the child with gifts & attention (when she does not deserve it, eg: when she is throwing a tantrum he will hug her because that is what she wants). I on the other hand believe that she should not be hugged, simply ignored untill she calms down & is ready to be reasoned with. I also believe that a child should not be spoiled with constant gift giving as they will grow up to expect things & never learn true appreciation.

Im baby sitting my baby cousins tonite. i dont have alot of experiance and there is 3 kids. luckily my best friend is helping. i want some tips on (1) some activites to do.

there are 3 kids:

a 3 year old
a 1st grader
a 3rd grader

the 3 year old is a girl and the rest are boys. the girl throws fits alot and i want to know (2) what to do if she has one!

i also (3) want to know tips in general!

what does spotting very light pink after sex during your most furtile time in ovulation mean? the sex was not rough and we are both very healthy and ttc.

i had it one time and then it was gone. and it was when i was wiping up from sex. now i just get really crampy after sex for a few hours then it is gone. I have never spotted after sex as well

The days i was most furtile and had sex were
9,10,13(spotted)15,20,21(cramping started)

I have a pretty irregular cycle. I'd say i start every 40 days. So when would my ovulation occur? Does anybody know? I have read for woman that have cycles like myself, ovulate later than "normal" woman? Is this true?

I read in my child development book that this week (week 10), a baby may recognize her name. I have not seen that, but she does seem to respond to "daddy." Is that possible, or could it just be my tone she's responding to?

Im 38 weeks pregnant today my doctor told me that I am going to be having a c-section tomorrow. I am really nervouse. I have throat infection and my friend told me that if i have throat infection i cant have the surgery, its this true??? And Today after i got out of the doc i b having bloody stools. I've liked the same guy - let's call him JT - since April this year. At the end of April there was Grade 9 "camp" - though really it was just a bus trip to a huge city 3 hours south for 3 days - and that was when we started getting to know each other, and when I started to like him.

We sat next to each other on the bus and just talked about totally random stuff but I felt so comfortable round him. JT has a great sense of humour and can always see the funny side of things, so he had me laughing the whole time. On the bus trip home I was playing around with his hand (hard to explain) and just talking and messing around and stuff... we were flirting with each other heaps....

I am 6 weeks pregnant. This is my first pregnancy and we really want this baby. My obgyn made my appointment when I am 9 weeks along.

They said they will do blood work, a full exam and possibly may do a vaginal ultrasound at my 9 week appointment.

I need to know if obgyns typically check for a heart beat at the first appointment. If I knew the baby had a heart beat I would stop worrying because I am going crazy not knowing the baby is okay.

At your first prenatal appointment did they check for a heart beat? How far along were you?
