The hottest stripper name these days is:
Amber
In fact any name that is a jewel or plant is trouble:
Jade
Jasmine
Amethyst
Ivy
Most strippers use popular names that are common among white suburban girls for the last 19-20 years:
Alexis
Samantha
Ashley
Taylor
Alyssa
Kayla
Brianna
Olivia
Anna
Hanna
Madison
Brittany
Rachel
Courtney
Seasonal names are bad, but it seems only two are commonly used:
Autumn
Summer
Any name with an alternate spelling, especially if it has a Y or K:
Krystyna
Kathryn
Kandi
Marlyn
If she does happen to be an ethnic minority, please avoid anything that refers to her color (this includes any and all foods):
Cinnamon
Chocolate
Mocha
Caramel
For some reason white girls don't pick food names or anything that refers to their color... I've never met an Ivory and if I did, I'd be very afraid of her.
Bambi is so 20 years ago... no self respecting stripper uses that any more.
Avoiding these names and ones like them will keep her off the fast track to the gentlemens' club, but to be absolutely sure you must hug your daughter, and be a good example of how to have positive relations with the opposite sex.

Hey I think it is unfair that you would put a name as old as Jasmine up there. I happen to be named Jasmine and I never made it to the stripper pole. In fact I have a degree and I have worked in local city government. I think you should do some serious thinking. Honestly you know there are some Jane's and Jessica's and Elizabeth's that have gone on to become strippers.

Anything that sounds like an alcoholic drink: Brandy, Chardonnay etc,
Come to think of it, anything that rhymes with Brandi: Candy, Sandy, Mandy,To hell with it, just avoid all the ones ending in a y or an i.! I'd also avoid anything that you think would make her sound like a 'good' girl, like saints names as there could be an opportunity for irony and I believe there's a lot of money in catering for fetishes, so an act called 'Sister Catherine the Naughty Nun' would probably be a huge draw for certain types of people Good God! Its a minefield isn't it? Glad I didn't think of it when I was naming my daughters. What a brilliantly funny question!

I think how your daughter is raised will have more of an impact on whether or not she ends up a stripper or not. I agree though that Candy sounds like a stripper name.

Name your daughter whatever you want. It's the parenting that causes something like that to happen.
But stay away from:
Monique
Giselle
Bambi (you're right)
Kiki
Crystal
Angel

A good parent who does everything they can to raise the child to be a good wholesome person can have a daughter named Bertha turn out to be a stripper.

Candy, lol and Bambi, Ha!
